I think you are right, but I would suspect those are some of the major reasons, but I think there are many more reasons as well.

My grandmother always said rejection of God was causing a decline in everything important. She said it began before World War I, when families stopped having family devotions. I have thought about this a lot over the years and I realized how right she was. Every decade has seen additional decline. All the things listed above could be corrected by a return to God and Biblical values.
17. Every amendment to the Constitution, at least since #16, and arguably since #14. The invention of the income tax is responsible for almost every idiotic government project ever, and is directly responsible for drawing megalomaniacs to politics over any other career.
It should be, because virtually everything that happens in this country, outside of uncontrollable, external forces (like invasion from Mars,) is a result of US citizens allowing those things to happen. The binding forces that hold the country together are dissolving, and the country becomes just a collection of strangers, each group with their own culture, language, morals, and desires. Those groups do not support each other; some are waging undeclared wars against others. Religion enforced morals for a few thousand years; but now there is no such enforcement, and everyone is welcome to celebrate his personal delusions in public. This cannot end well.
No it won't end well. I have thought for a while, that this country will be divided into 4 or 5 different countries. I still think that way. Can anyone say "the Balkans?" I saw another poster on a different thread say he thought this country was beyond saving. The only thing I think about that, is ballots do not work anymore.
