I’d think more like a litter box disaster. With a diet like that, I’d put a surround cover on the box so that when the cat craps what comes out at least stays inside.

Hah! Cats are unruly. That’s just how it is. I feed Brutus a really good quality of dry cat food; and really, she eats less of it than some of the cheaper brands. I get it at the Co-op; it’s one of those “wildcat” brands that has a lot of wild meat and fruits in it. - Brutus dictated what we would name her; just by simply not answering to any of the “cute” names we gave her at first. “Brutus” is the only name she has been willing to answer to. I first named her “Lambchop”, and the neighbor kids just hooted and howled at that name. Before that, we tried “Zip”; but she didn’t like that. - Oh, and she will eat canned or frozen salmon, fresh cooked white meat chicken; and that’s about it. She will occasionally beg me for something I’m eating; but it’s a waste to put any in her bowl - she’s finicky.

I would quit the beans and popcorn. Cats can’t digest carbs...the result can be throwing up or even diabetes, eventually.

But you admit that SHE owns YOU, so I would say you are on the right track, and appropriately subservient to your feline overlord.
