The photos of the Loretta Fuddy Cessna crash that Josh Lang provided to the media? They weren't of the same plane. The plane that crashed with Fuddy in it had a window between the door and the tail; Lang's photos don't. (I've got photos at my blog and in the first post I'll post them so you can compare the 2 planes)
Lang apparently had photos of a DIFFERENT plane ditching in the water and gave them to the media, claiming they were of this crash, and apparently the media didn't check out the genuineness of the photos...
Now why would Lang do that? Why would he post images of the area with no passengers or anything else in the water ANYWHERE, rather than taking photos of what was actually there and giving those to the media?
As far down as the plane is in that image with Fuddy by the door, there would be no way the door would have closed before submerging, IMHO. The upward pressure of the water would have held it upon right up to the very end.

All I am doing is trying to show the same images from different angles. That door appears to be open way up high in one shot, because the photograph is being taken from below, where-as, as the plane sinks, and Yamamoto and Fuddy are in front of the door, it's not nearly as wide open. It's all a matter of angles, imo.
This conspiracy "research" of yours? Just stop it.

Window on the left, open door in the middle, two windows now submerged.
There is a window. Look on the roof of the Plane in the first photo, you can clearly see the shadow of the open hatch/door cast complete with window upon the roof of the plane.
Now, find the origin of the shadow ... where it meets the door. See how you are looking at the open edge of the door? That makes it look like the last window between the door and the tail look like a door, when in fact it is a window.
I believe the pix are of the same plane. In the Lang photo, the upper portion of the open door (in the same position as in the Puentes video) appears as the line that is apparently above the rearmost window. The window seen in Jason's photo is the same distance rearward as the Puentes images, when compared to the top-fuselage antenna (?) that's just ahead of the tailfin's most-forward attachment area (game, set, match).
The N-number positioning appears the same for both the larger fuselage (same paint-colors) and tail version, "svcw's GA husband."
Getting rid of my other thoughts:
- An NTSB preliminary report should have info on passengers. I don't think an NTSB person would stand still for such information going missing.
- The engine manufacturer would be "all-over" getting a tear-down of the engine for liability and future Airworthiness Directive data. If the failure was genuine and not "helped along", there are people that can figure that out.
- That the plane was so badly, purposefully (?) mangled is an issue. Why? To hide a non-failure? To hide recovery negligence? I'm confident the plane could have been brought up using floatation devices without damage.
- With the plane going down so shortly after take-off, the pilot must have been familiar with the waters where he brought it down. It would be conceivable that, were he "in on bring it down", he could've placed it where there was one or more divers. Alternately, the pilot could've brought it down onto a pre-arranged GPS waypoint. Such a waypoint might still have been accessible from the recovery of an "un-mangled" Caravan GPS receiver.
- Other Jason's images, being top down into the clear blue sea, might have more-readily picked up on any diver silhouettes below the surface. - Why can't photo extractions from unpixelated, original video be shared as freely as the ones shared thus far?
- Has Ferdinand Puentes ever been a beneficiary of the Bishop Trust or Kamehameah School system?
- Interesting that the "spiraling into the ocean" GMA info-babe comes out with "Fernidand."

The dark streak being pointed at by the arrow is the bottom edge of the open door.
In Lang's image, if the black line above the window/door-ish area is the door sticking straight up into the air, (I'll post the image below this so everybody can see what I'm saying), then the back window in Lang's photo is just getting ready to go into the water since we can still see the lower sash of the window/door/whatever. IOW, Lang's photo would have to have been taken immediately before this one. If so, then where are all the people in Lang's photo?
