There are few prophetic events that stir the imagination more than the mark of the beast. For millennia, Bible scholars have attempted to decipher this cryptic code, but not until the end of the age did we have the geo-political world line up so precisely as to offer a plausible explanation that links global religious fanaticism with the ability (or inability) to buy and sell without a mark in the right hand or forehead.
Tonight, on Shabbat Night Live, Michael Rood will take you into the first half of the mark of the beast expose in preparation for understanding its relationship in the upcoming demise of the new world order.

....”Thanks for that heads up”....
Yep....had to be said early on in my opinion. I’ve noted on other web sites the tactics to introduce and gain audiance to false teachers and the junk they want to spread often times comes sneaking in the backdoor...how be it by people deluded by said counterfeits and cults.
Many people today think we all should carry a banner of gentleness and love when addressing these cults....but when souls are at risk by deceptive means some are called to go for the jugglar....as they are ravenous wolves disguised as sheep. THEY want you to be “nice” .....pet their heads and believe they mean no harm.
Roods father, I believe was a Pastor well respected....Roods would never live up to the measure of his father by doing the hard work needed to become so. So he appealed in many ways to those who are seeking “more” than the Gospel...and today there are many who fall to such teachings.
He derailed himself along the way, many times when he could have been otherwise a man of God. But his desire for significance rang louder, as it usually does with cult leaders....they assume a leadership role without any accountability to another than themselves. That would be Roods.
I havent seen anybody shoving anything down your throat. I have only seen exposing the counterfeit that Rood is. Scripture is what is presented to counter his teachings. If you come on here promoting his false teachings expect to be corrected with scripture and admonition.
We arent asked in scripture to correct a sinning, unbelieving world. We are to spread the gospel and make sure the gospel that the apostles taught stays pure.
2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
If someone teaches something the apostles didnt or teach in opposition to what they taught we are to consider them accursed.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9
Thank you ...you are exactly right...
Rood’s hass been pretty much relegated to the fringe of the ‘Hebrew Roots movement’....even they cannot believe how far out there he has gone....
He claims that with the Holy Spirit, People are now able to keep the Law; yet Scripture is clear if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under Law!........ Then they go about trying to re-define ‘under’....
.....So typical of false teachers and the cults... mislead..... Make it confusing and hard to understand.... change things and twist them in order to sustain their system of belief..........
They make the Torah The Word of God. The rest of the Bible is not considered scripture. They strip Jesus Christ of His deity by doing this and give more weight to the Torah than to Christs words in the New Testament.
But this is generally the way cults and false religions work their works...it keeps their followers ‘occupied’ in what the demands of the Torah is, what they must obey and the ritual feasts they should abide by.......instead of developing their relationship with Jesus Christ........but then some will settle for “feeling” religious rather than have the relationship with Jesus He desires with them.
And from what I have witnessed here on these threads is that they are rather sanctimonious as well.
...” they are rather sanctimonious as well”....
Well that does come with the territory they are in...if they are following Roods teachings...he’s very much like that. Actually not uncommon for those who have “studied” closely what he teaches as the general belief is we’ve all missed out because we’re not practicing the Torah...nor celebrating the right Holidays, and surely we are wrong for attending church on Sundays...
I have never heard of this person. Whether he is or is not a cult leader is not the purpose of my question to you. What is the ‘mark’ of the beast? It seems an answer every Christian must need know.
At any rate the “Mark of the Beast” is a term used in Christian theology regarding the times when the ant-Christ comes to power and his hold on the economies and revenues in the world.
Of interest is currently it would take a week or less to integrate the entire banking systems worldwide...if that. A simple computer crisis would give them reason and time to implement such.
I read the intro on this thread then began to read the comments. You came up at number 3. And since I do not know anything about the Roots person have nothing to say about him.
And given John 1:1 it seemed natural that Christians of any and all divisions would know and able to answer the question what is the mark of the beast. Because as it is described there will not be any 'force' used to get the majority of the inhabitants of the earth to take the mark.
The liberals are pretty much running things here on earth, and what could they possible 'offer' that would cause the majority to be marked? It reads to me this is as much a 'religious' mark as an economic/political one.
It makes a difference this thread’s using ‘Roods’ as the source lead in any discussion about end times events. It would be an interesting topic otherwise but I’m not going to discuss it on this particular thread...and by doing so encourage folks to seek out his outlandish teachings linked...but you’re certainly free to do as you wish.
Sorry I misread the name Roods. I would not have seen the thread had it not been for.... oh well never mind. I guess somebody will get around to posting who it is that actually offers a 'mark' that gets the majority of the inhabitants on this earth to eagerly accept that service.
Indeed it likely is. Michael Rood describes this in the video linked above. His reasoning sounds pretty plausible and he pretty well covers his thoughts on the matter in the last 20 minutes in the video.
Btw, thanks for making mention of something that actually pertains to the subject of the thread! :)
You’re the one came running in here with your nose in the air FRiend.
I was very clear what my motive was. You seem to be on a witch-hunt alone. Witch-hunt, false prophet hunt. Same difference based on what I'm reading here.
I will continue to warn against this mans teachings for he is a danger to people who are either young in the Lord or those who have little familarity with the scriptures.
Like I said earlier, people like you want to insist the greatest evil and danger is from other Christians in whom you disagree with doctrinally. Most of which is based on tradition rather than scripture itself. Yet the evidence shows that for most young people and babes in the faith - the greater danger is coming from the culture which has embraced the religion of the self.
We have lost our culture to wickedness, not because of Christian infighting as you stated, but because those who have known the truth now deny it or have forsaken it and follow something else....and they are mis-leading others likewise. Roody and his followers are likewise following something else other than the Christ of Christianity.
We lost the culture because Christians like you are consumed with waging a crusade against other Christians in whom you disagree with doctrinally rather than waging a crusade to call sin what it is. The atheists read and see this incessant bickering and make a justifiable case against the entire faith.
Who made you arbiter to decide whether or not a person belongs to Christ based on their doctrines or biblical understanding? Has The Lord granted you the spiritual gift to discern whom He has granted His Spirit and whom He has not?
I asked you what is false in this man's teachings you despise. I asked you if this man has denied the Divinity of Christ, His Atoning Sacrifice, His Resurrection, Our Path to Salvation only through Him.
You say yes, by stating the name of their movement. You claim they make the Torah The Word of God. As if that is a crime. In my biblical studies the Torah IS part of the Word of God. It is the 'scripture' that Jesus referred to in His ministry since the letters that comprise the New Testament were not written yet.
You state that they do not believe the rest of the Bible is not considered scripture. If true, then I will agree with your assessment that this man is a false teacher. Can you provide factual evidence (not conjecture) that is indeed their position?
I note their worship practices that they believe draws them nearer in their Walk with The Lord really bothers you. Are they too 'Jewish' for you? If a Christian observes the biblical holy days and Sabbath is that your measure to determine they are not of Christ?
If so, you sit in judgment of the hearts of many Christians before The Lord, and you will be held to account for that judgment.
Amen!
As a missionary serving in rural India, I'm curious - would that 'Gospel" be the Baptist one, or the Catholic gospel?
What about the Evangelical Free Gospel, or would it be the Messianic gospel? All of whom make the same claim: that it is only THEIR catechisms and doctrines the Apostles taught - and anything outside those beliefs and traditions is deviation and heresy.
When preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to those who have NEVER heard of Jesus Christ - there is ONLY ONE MAXIM, ONE DOCTRINE THAT MATTERS, and Paul stated it clearly in I Corinthians 2:2.
Doctrine does not win people to Christ. Not catechism, not order of worship, not Sabbaths or Sundays. Christ and Him Crucified is all that is necessary to be known.
While we justify ripping one another to shreds over doctrine and purity - we lost the American heritage and culture to overt wickedness and sin. It's always easier to bash a brother or sister, it's safer. Safer than confronting the real bully down the street. The one who is going to shove secular hedonism or Sharia down your throat after pantsing you.
I guess what is left of Christianity in America is limited to the Lukewarm or the Pharisee.
God forbid we sit in 'judgment' of sin, but hey - sitting in judgement of who is and who is not a Christian - that's what it means to be Christian in today's vapid culture apparently.
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
So which denominations and Christian groups and movements do you consider to be of ‘the Synagogue of Satan’?
Any church that is not yours?
False prophets are liars, which is a sin.
If so, you sit in judgment of the hearts of many Christians before The Lord, and you will be held to account for that judgment.
Likewise are you doing it.
I only warned that sitting in judgement of whom is a Christian and whom is not a Christian based on doctrines and traditions they disagree, will be held to account.
I’ve not suggested or stated that someone with whom I disagree with doctrinally or biblically is not a Christian.
