"Walhberg is hardly a friend to gun owners. In 2000, at the MTV Movie Awards, Wahlberg suggested the Best Villain award should go to Charlton Heston of the NRA. I believe Charlton Heston is Americas best villain because he loves guns so much. Maybe he should get the award for being president of the National Rifle Association, Wahlberg said.
In a 2007 story in the Australian Herald-Sun, Wahlberg contradicted his earlier interview in Visual Hollywood. In the Herald-Sun, Wahlberg was quoted as saying, Well, I would love it if they could take all the guns away
Certainly, I havent used a gun anywhere other than on a movie set and Id like to see if we could take them all away. It would be a beautiful thing.

Everyone knows in his youth Marky Mark was a thug and it haunts him to this day. The bigger picture is in this day of FaceBook and Twitter no one will be able to escape misspent youth. I for one am glad I was able to escape some of the things I did.

...and now for the rest of the story!
Thank for posting.
Good actor, typical Hollywood hypocrite.
Now his family has a new reality gig on cable.

Too bad the Vietnamese guy didn’t have a gun. We would have been spared Marky Mark and the funky bunch.

I went to Google maps at the address, 998 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Massachusetts
There a Vietnamese music store exactly at that address so I assume it’s a Vietnamese neighborhood?

Wahlberg plead guilty to two counts of criminal contempt, was sentenced to two years imprisonment, and was released after 45 days
45 days. More of of that hardline approach to crime libs take. Attempted murder and the POS walks after 45 days.

Aaaaaaand because hollywierd cannot not make movies with guns and so many of the “cool kids” may have convictions, the prop gun folks have come up with a solution. Looks like a real gun, but is electric, uses a cylinder of multiple flash caps, and is actually not a firearm.
Michael Bane did a show on the largest prop armory out west, and these things were part of it. They provide enough flash that the sound/foley folks can mark the spot for playback.

"...after beating a Vietnamese man badly enough that the victim of the attack lost an eye and was sentenced to two years in prison." Is this to say the Vietnamese man lost an eye and was sentenced to two years in prison? Or is it supposed to mean Wahlberg was sentenced to two years in prison after beating a Vietnamese man so badly he lost an eye?

Mark Wahlberg attacked Thanh Lam. Wahlberg was carrying a large wooden stick, approximately five feet long and two to three inches in diameter. Wahlberg approached Thanh Lam calling him a Vietnam f, then hit him over the head with the stick. Thanh Lam was knocked to the ground unconscious. There is plenty of 'good ole boy', 'young wild male' stuff that is criminal, but which to me are wildness that doesn't show a bad heart, this isn't one of them.
He really is lacking something inside.

If you are not a liberal at 20 you have no heart.
If you are not a conservative by 40 you have no
brains......Winston Churchhill.
This phenomeon may apply to Mark Wahlberg.
As he matured he became rational, meaning he
became conservative.
