A mass shooter forgot the important functional rule for successful mass murderers: only attack in disarmed victim zones, sometimes called "gun free zones". From KGW.com:
The shooter hit three people, prompting a person in the bar to return fire, hitting and critically injuring the suspect.Fortunately, Oregon is does not prohibit citizens from legally being armed in places that serve alcohol. As indicated by the map, only a few states do.
"The shooter came in and just started shooting without any kind of warning," victim Gonzalo Zamora-Hernandeza told KGW Monday.
Brian Rizzo, a 26-year-old security guard from the club, was hit by the shooter at the front door and was still in critical condition with life-threatening injuries Monday.
In short, this is noted as “one cannot prove a negative”.
That is 1 of the obstacles to getting closet commies to understand anything about freedom.
According to the map, you may!
That "technically" is pretty critical, and is pretty much how I roll. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Oregon ping...
Excuse me?
From the article:
A second bouncer followed the masked man out of the club, and pulled out his own handgun and shot the intruder as he was walking out of the club's front door. The second bouncer has a concealed handgun permit. "The owner described the second bouncer as "a hero.''
I can't believe that statement was actually printed by the liberal Oregonian rag...
See my comment just posted for more detail from a local source.
A word on that carry map: You cannot walk around in New York state with a gun. Period.
That’s two mass shooters stopped by an armed citizen in OR in the last year, that I recall.
You likely legally can, but may well be politically hassled into not doing so.
