In a recent Wall Street Journal interview, Paglia, now 66, demonstrated that she has not strayed from her role as the self-described notorious Amazon feminist who is quick to lambaste the movement and its orthodoxy.
Weiss observed, however, that the topic that gets the greatest rise out of Paglia is how attempts to dismiss the biological differences between men and women have influenced the collapse of Western civilization.
The diminished status of military service is only the start of the decline of the culture, according to Paglia.
"The entire elite class now, in finance, in politics and so on, none of them have military servicehardly anyone, there are a few. But there is no prestige attached to it anymore. That is a recipe for disaster," she says. "These people don't think in military ways, so there's this illusion out there that people are basically nice, people are basically kind, if we're just nice and benevolent to everyone they'll be nice too. They literally don't have any sense of evil or criminal

"Primary-school education is a crock, basically. It's oppressive to anyone with physical energy, especially guys," she says, and observes how difficult it is for boys in schools that have discontinued recess.
"They're making a toxic environment for boys. Primary education does everything in its power to turn boys into neuters."
Media. Education. Hollywood. Three enemies.
Isolate television advertisements as a study. Males are humiliated nonstop and in three examples slapped in the face by women. Men are lit on fire, burned to create an image. It is offensive.
Look at what they prefer to do to little babies regardless of gender.
It's all about the government eliminating all threats by empowering feminists, homosexuals, and emasculated boys and crushing masculinity or the "physical energy" of real men.
Scaring private industry into passing over more-qualified men to hire less-qualified women and minorities is the Left’s greatest crime. Once meritocracy in hiring was superseded by affirmative action, the line between “independent business” and “arm of government” became forever blurred.
I may have to start praying for Camille Paglia, the last thing you do when you are in a group of vicious sheep like the liberals is become a Heretic... heretics to the Liberal Establishment often become room temperature....
I saw this coming years ago when every sitcom turns into a chance for male-bashing. Some advertisers will go out of their way not to include white males, when even children, in their commercials. When they do portray white male children, the child is often standing alone, while the other children associate in pairs and activity groups. Most Colleges around here advertise showing only women and only girls, as though it were a sorority. The advertising embeds the notion with some people that higher education is only something women are interested in. Now the colleges don’t understand why so few men are applying to get in. Duh!
Can you name one Republican who is a real man?
Just one?
OK, maybe Ted Cruz or Jeff Sessions.
Not much out there beyond that.
Get ready for Hillary. There are no real men out there to challenge her.
Although I seldom agree with Paglia, I do find her interesting and well-spoken.
I feel the same way about Dershowitz. I disagree with them both constantly, but I don’t find them to be complete lunatics, like so many on the left.
A feminist who criticizes N.O.W. & who speaks on the War on Men.
Yes, that's her.
She would know...
Yep, that's what I thought too.
I was curious about what she had to say on the topic.
Sounds like she doesn't think much of Pajama Boy.
Me.
Tammy Bruce is another. She would go far in Politics if she could moderate her naturally shrill voice.
Another insightful analysis. I would much rather read the thoughts of Paglia - a liberal lesbian feminist - than the repetitive drone of Hannity or the incoherent babbling of Beck.
So much for orthodoxy.
My version:
WAR ON _______* DESTROYING AMERICAN CULTURE
* = men, capitalism, Christianity, morals, virtue, traditions
Reminds me of the Susan Estridge pix...
Oh dear. She’s 66. Looks like 96.
