Justine Sacco was fired because she told the politically incorrect, accurate truth about AIDS

A company called InterActiveCorp just fired empoyee Justine Sacco because she tweeted the following:

“Going to Africa. Hope I don’t get AIDS. Just kidding. I’m white!”

Before Sacco made that tweet, The New York Times reported:

“The rate of AIDS among black women is 27 times the rate among white women.”

This is precisely why math is the most politically incorrect academic subject. No matter how much the radical left wants to see “racism” where none exists – no matter how much they claim to be “offended” when there is no rational reason to be offended – no matter how many temper tantrums they throw – you can’t argue against the math. The math will always win.

If the radical left insists on about getting mad at some for the AIDS problem, they have chosen the wrong target. It’s not Sacco’s fault that anyone has AIDS. If the radical left really wants to get mad at someone over the AIDS problem, then why don’t they get mad at the people who are actually spreading AIDS?

She is an idiot. This is not about political correctness but rather unabated idiocy. She heads PR for a group of companies, and is thus, right or wrong, the public face of that group of companies. She then goes and posts that tweet. I honestly do not know what she expected, particularly considering her profession is PR and she is a senior executive.

No, they were convicted despite the fact that a number of union radicals bribed unscrupulous individuals to pretend they had alibis.

They didn't.

Modern ballistics confirms bullets fired in the murder came from Sacco's gun, and that Vanzetti was an accessory to murder which was also a capital crime.

No legal entity that has ever considered their case on the facts or the law thought them innocent. Most postmortem examinations find fault with the process -- and should -- but don't really argue against their guilt.

We also know that Vanzetti killed a priest in the Midwest on his way to Mexico to avoid WWI. How do I know this? From Paul Avrich’s brilliant book of oral history on Italian and German/Jewish anarchists. The Italians made Emma Goldman look like a saint! And omerta died out in the late 1980s.

We also know that the infamous bombing of Wall St. in 1919 was done by Michael Boda - in retaliation for the incarceration of S&V. He eventually escaped back to Italy where Mussolini had him killed. Nasty group!

That's exactly what it is. The machinery is even the same. Point to errors in process, which are/were not reversible errors as a way of clouding the facts, further cloud the facts by nitpicking evidence that for the most part is immaterial, and make ex post facto claims about unscrupulous witnesses, recanted testimony, and hearsay, long after people are dead or no longer compelled under threat of perjury.

Sacco and Vanzetti is the very template for turning murder convictions into a political game.
