If this is not the biggest lie of the year, I don't know what is.
To: Sir Napsalot
I still had my doubts. Until now.

Except we know he knows otherwise and recommendations have been made to chuck ALL the calls of every American in a different location.

I have confidence you are lying
They are doing this ON HIS ORDERS
Information such as that collected by the NSA is useless EXCEPT for one reason.... going back to find out what you did if you come to their attention later
If you are gathering data for an existing investigation you have to have someone analyze it. You can’t have 300 million analysts reviewing information for 300 million citizens...
BUT you can store this info- and if you raise your voice against the king well then let’s just go take a look at who you’ve been calling and what you’ve been up do, shall we?
[this is also good for ACTUAL criminals- I am sure in hindsight they found plenty about the Boston Marathon bombers... but only after the fact]

"... As part of the NSA unravelings, it was uncovered that Microsoft gives security holes to the National Security Agency for exploiting before it sends out security repair patches to its users and customers essentially betraying the trust of every customer worldwide, and making sure that no government, corporation, or media outlet can ever trust Microsoft products again:
for Microsoft gave the master key to every customers operations to the NSA. Without Snowden setting the ball rolling, we would not have known this, and we would continue to have been owned in the hacker and literal sense of the word by the United States. Now, we can at least see that any Microsoft-developed software, and probably any closed US-developed software, is a huge security risk that no nation outside the United States can afford to take."

Just one of many intrusions into the American citizen's privacy, lest we forget. And of course, O ain't never lied...
