American feminists may be in for a surprise. A growing number of manly men in the country are taking back the masculinity that Betty Friedan and her ilk took from them during the beginning of the feminist movement in America.

Some of us never lost it.
i sure hope so! I am sick of girly men, beginning with that one who is occupying the White House. I am old enough that the man I married was a real man!
Interesting that you only post your own Examiner blog material:

I tell people that if I want to get in touch with my feminine side, I reach for my wife.
And when she wants to get in touch with her “masculine” side.. she reaches for you! Wonderfully stated, cuban leaf!
Exactly, the only ones who lost it are the leftists.
I’ll be 60 in January and never gave up my manliness. My son is a manly man as well.
Never lost mine...
If ya let someone take it you never had it in the first place.
Do u really see much evidence of this? Pretty much all we see here is a bunch of weak wimps worrying over things that real Americans would stand up and get rid of of just tell to go to Hell ( like any govt spying on American citizens or gun control Laws or other illegal means of enslavement tyranny dictatorship ). We see lots of worrying yes. But precious little legitimate action (excluding all the good FR - ers of course )
True dat.
Here's a fun site on the subject. The youngin's are learning.
I just gave up my man purse last week. I am man, hear me roar !!!!! :-)
That might be the dumbest article I’ve ever read on the internet.
No one ever came calling for our manliness. Unfortunately some idiots on both left and the right were mentally incapable of maintaining both chivalrous AND liberated attitudes towards women at the same time. I treat my wife like the center of the world, my business partner, my confidant, the person I take care of and would die for, BUT I also respect her as my intellectual equal, respect that she wants to work a job that is challenging and remunerative and does not take orders, instruction or is in any way except physical strength inferior, subordinate or secondary to me. It is no trouble to give her all the respect and equality any rabid feminist could ever ask for *AND* treat her like a lady, as someone to be taken care of regardless of sacrifice to self and as the most beautiful and precious thing in the universe; if she can put more rounds on target faster than I can, makes more money and supervises more people than I do and has her own opinions that is no threat to my masculinity and I have only contempt for any insecure wussie who WOULD be in any way threatened or even uncomfortable by having their partner capable of doing pretty much anything they do. Any contradictions in the above- and/or being stuck in tradition - of right or left- are for small simple minds
When they talk about the pay inequality (which is horse crap), ask them have they ever looked at the difference in how many men DIE on the job vs women die on the job? We need to equal that up, too...that is in all fairness...
I’ve heard the the devil has put Betty in charge of making sandwiches for the boys at the weekly poker game.
Barefoot and pregnant, eh? I thought it was feminists who advocated the use of boobs as an asset like animal pelt?
Mark my words, leftists love their slaves. It all is about management takeover. They cannot go without Walmart contributions or pimped out whores.
Out of the testicle lockbox and into the woods!
We understand our roles - and responsibilities in the relationship. I honestly did not know in my wildest imagination that marriage could be as good and complete in my life as mine is. Going on 16 years and we’re both about to turn 60.
To be fair, we learned from our past mistakes in our previous lives - and the bible’s instruction.
