Only in California: An amendment to a recently passed law in California requires porn stars to wear protective goggles. This is what happens when the idiot party completely controls the state government. And we thought Bloomberg was bad. The link is below, and make sure you read all the comments. They are hysterical.
"Proposed California law requires protective eye wear in porn"
It has indeed come to this....
What is porn nowadays? I have seen scenes in mainstream motion pictures that would probably rival the raunchiest porn movie a decade ago.
Somebody explain to me how pornography is not filmed prostitution.
I’m not sure what the economics of porn are these days.
So many everyday idiots are willing to share their fun for free on sites like YouPorn.
I immediately thought of Raphie from Christmas story all grown up. Now I hang my head in shame (and snickering).
“Stop, or you’ll go Blind!”

True, true. So yeah. Maybe eye protection is necessary.
A few months ago there was a story about them requiring condoms in porn and I said something to the effect of “get OSHA involved and make them wear hard hats and safety glasses” and everyone laughed. (Well I got a few positive comments anyway. This is the way things work. All the stuff that used to be a joke or used to be a conspiracy theory is just the new reality.
Somehow that industry keeps going despite the tons of free sites out there.
I personally know the outfit which runs YP, KM and especially Naughty America. One of my closest buds works for same co which originally came with up with those XXX parodies such as “This Ain’t Superman” and “This Aint Star Wars” before everyone copied them. Unlike Freepers who get upset about porn, I don’t. There is an economic way to make money off those sites and a certain formula formula from the ads.
Only in America.
I know in the early days of the internet it was a business premise that the only entities making money were porn.
Obviously that’s changed some in 15 yrs but still interesting.
“Are you going swimming, or are you just happy to see me?”
LOL. It is not if I’m about to back pornsters, but it certainly looks like Kalifornians are determined to ruin their last remaining industries:-)
Got it!
Somebody said it’s a lot like YouTube....not that I’d know....
It’s just Legislators dreaming up ways to collect Campaign contributions from private enterprise. In the real world we would call such an action Extortion, but government calls it Pending laws........
