We hope they suffer a whole lot more than the millions of Americans whove lost their insurance thanks to them. Dont forget, America, Democrats own this horror show in its entirety and they must pay next November.
Senate Democrats vented their frustrations over the faulty rollout of the Affordable Care Act in a meeting Thursday with White House chief of staff Denis McDonough and other senior officials.
Theres a lot of frustration, everywhere, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said after the meeting.
McDonough tried to assure angry senators he is personally taking charge of the disparate federal offices in charge of implementing the massive law, which has been plagued by technical errors.
He gave us the impression that hes taking charge of the different elements and cracking the whip. He said to let him know if we had concerns, said a Democratic senator who attended the meeting.
Marilyn Tavenner, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Jeffrey Zients, whom President Obama has tapped to troubleshoot the bugs afflicting HealthCare.gov, also attended the meeting.
Democratic senators facing reelection in 2014 were some of the most vocal critics.
One lawmaker described Sens. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) as visibly agitated.
Shaheen demanded to know why the rollout of HealthCare.gov had become so riddled with problems.
A Democratic aide said Shaheen asked the administration officials for a contingency plan in case technical problems are not fixed by Nov. 30. They replied they are working on one but did not have a plan to share as of Thursday.
Theyre working on a plan to fix the next debacle! Surely it will save the day.
[People] are unhappy. We want to see improvements. Theyve got to let people know what theyre doing, as theyre doing it, said Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio).
Brown said too many people still dont know how to sign up for health plans through the insurance exchanges.
This is a situation where too many people dont know about the website, dont know how to apply, he said.
If there are still people who dont know about this disastrous website then we need to re-define low-information voter.
they are not going to be able to fix this nightmare in 30 days. they wouldn’t even have time to properly test the fixes in 30 days.
everyone start thinking about what to do come december1. we know it will not be working within 30 days. not possible.
Yea they do ... it is called “one payer system” ... Medicare for everyone.
I couldn’t care less. It doesn’t affect me in the least.
Won’t be fixed by 2014’s Nov. 30th.....CERTAINLY not the one in 2013!!
And don't forget who tried to stop it.
We told you so.
I think the “no plan” was in fact the plan.
Repeal? Including punishment for Osama and any Congressmen who pushed it?
That's a good one!
Bump that! If they don't know about this monster, they must live on the dark side of the moon, in The Outback, in the Sahara, deep in the Amazon, or be in a coma. Ain't no other explanations.
The media keeps on bringing up the crappy site..this was NEVER about the web site..this is about what the web site contains..higher premiums, putting people on medicaid just like the left wants..the web site is just a rouse to hide the REAL issue
They’ll declare it much improved, the press will fall in line. And it’ll be over as a story.
GOP better have a plan of action also. When 30 Nov date hits and ACA website is still screwed up, the Dems will launch into the GOP with both barrels hot. Every dirty trick and scorch earth policy will hit the GOP because at that point the Dems have nothing to lose. It is going to get ugly till 2014 elections. Hope the GOP is united and not killing each other when the Dems launch their desperate counter attack.
Where did this new date of November 30th come from?
They can still pull out Bush and blame him.
The website isn’t an issue. The lack of care, deductibles and sky high prices will be what brings people to the White House’s door IMO.
You don't say.....
Now why would that be, I wonder? They couldn't possibly think that Democrat voters who are being stung by Obamacare would come for their scalps next year, could they?
I think Obama was pissed that six folks actually got in to his website on Oct 1st.
The Democrats won't have the credibility with the American people to move the country to Single Payer after Obamacare collapses.
They'll be lucky to escape without becoming lamp post decorations after this debacle causes real death and suffering across the nation.
