Global warming predictions were right 2.6% of the time.
Proving that global warming is happening...an man did it.
And the other 2.6 percent?
Just a lucky guess on their part.
Since when has being dead wrong ever stopped a liberal?
Well, yeah, but...but...but, it’s that 2.6% that we gotta worry about.
Here is the problem.
If you ask me to PROVE global warming or PROVE global cooling using statistics I can easily do that by being free to pick the start and end points in time. It is super easy if one is as dishonest as the glo-bull warming crowd.
I can even pick a time frame where over that time no change occurred even though any honest thinking person would know there was all sorts of change in the middle.
In addition, if I were asked to look for any possible evidence of climate change I would look at recorded temperatures from various mines around the world. They have a great, natural way of averaging out weather related temperature swings and would help get around the cherry picking of data points by the global government types.
Then, armed with the average data from mines, I would look to see if there was ANY correlation between human activity and the change in average temperature. My gut feeling is one yearly volcano fart can offset any phantom reduction in CO2 emissions any carbon tax the “steal from the producers” crowd can create.
I remember reading a popular science magazine around the time of the first earth day (1970) that showed towering icebergs in the Gulf of Mexico, an event that was supposed to happen by 2000.
I live on the Gulf of Mexico and am still waiting for the icebergs to show up. How about you?
The good news is that if you want to know what will happen in the future, negate whatever the AGW crowd is predicting. Worked in Colorado. The AGW crowd was predicting a permanent drought in Colorado.
That’s a pretty good percentage for a liberal cause. Marxism does worse by 2.6%.
Three percent of the time they were right? Surprised it’s that high...
