9/12/13

Any other FReepers 'Burn Notice' fans? What did you think of the finale?

One of my Favorite quotes from the show: Michael Westen: [voice-over] Being a spy, you have to get comfortable with the idea of people doing bad things for good reasons; doing good things for bad reasons. You do the best you can.

Burn Notice ROCKS! Have not seen the finale because my brother is out of town and we watch it together. The suspense is killing me, though!

Won’t check back in here because I do not want any spoilers!

I thought it was awesome, although the “This is for my boys” part was a real shocker (trying to avoid a spoiler).

Madeline turned out to be the hero of the episode.

Bittersweet, but a good ending for the series.

It took 7 seasons, but Fi finally got her man. ;)

I like it a lot.. Since it changed time slots I don’t catch it as often as I did.

There are a few things which bother me. It is a bit McGyverish. I know some of the things he does are possible but they just seem to work too well too often.

Since I have never been a spy, I can’t say for sure about a lot of it, but I think he would have been dead long ago for a lot of the situations he is in but then Roy Rogers and Gene Autry probably would never have survived all their adventures

The only person I know of who has been in life and death situations that often is Frank Hamer. He was in over a hundred gun battles in his life, and also was shot 18 times in those battles and left for dead several time.

I thought it was a pretty decent series finale.

i agree it was a good ending. and time to go. it was starting to get too dark the last 2 seasons. but great characters and some of the meanest psychopathic bad guys on tv.

James Bond would have been dead a hundred times over if they didn’t want to keep writing novels and making movies.

Great show and one of the few worth watching any more.

One of the things about being older is that you can watch the reruns and always find some part that you didn’t quite remember from previous viewings.

I’m sad it’s over.

I knew someone just had to die, too bad. Michael must feel awful.

I’d prefer it if he and Fi kept helping random people with Sam and Jesse (there hasn’t been enough of that the last couple seasons) rather than retire and hide out but at least they got back together without drama.

I'm sad it's over, but like others said - it was time to go. Best action on television since 24. Hard to replace.

If it was on HBO or Showtime instead of USA, it would have won all sorts of awards like Breaking Bad has over the years. It never got the respect I thought it deserved.

Gonna miss ya Fi!
