My wife is very ill and in need of prayer. She was diagnosed with blood clots in her legs several weeks ago and was put on Cumadin and sent home. The Cumadin didn't work, she developed additional clots and several migrated to her lungs. She was sent to the ER and then admitted to the hospital and a CT scan was ordered. The scan showed several clots in her lungs and it also showed a mass on her liver. The oncologist first diagnosed liver cancer and since the mass was relatively small we were hopeful that surgery and a round of chemo would take care of it. Yesterday the oncologist informed my wife that her situation was 'much worse than I originally thought' and told her that the tumor on her liver was a met, not a primary tumor. However, they haven't yet found out what her primary cancer is...they told her she metatastic disease but can't tell her what cancer.
We're both in a fog and feeling lost. I feel like I've been through hell these last three days, I can't imagine what my dear wife must think! She's putting on a brave face and trying to stay positive but this week has been brutal.
Please pray for her. Pray for healing and for her comfort. She is my wife of thirty years, my best friend and soul mate. I will be absolutely lost without her...
We pray that you and Janet have the Lord’s healing Grace in all ways each and every day. We pray that each day contains a treasure of that Grace to be found amongst the pain, stress and concern that are your daily burden.
Continued prayers for both you and your wife.
Will keep you both in my prayers!
Tell Janet I said (((((Hugs)))))
Janet has been in my nightly prayers, but now I will offer a morning prayer for her. I will ask our Lord to not only allow the chemotherapy to halt the cell growth, but also that our dear Lord will reverse this condition. I will pray for her, and your strength, and that her immune system will fight back.
Thanks for coming back with this update. We care.
Thanks for the update and continue to give her hugs. Prayers for the both of you.
My family is praying for your family - for hope, for healing and for perseverance in the face of adversity. May our Lord be close to you both during this trying time and may you feel His presence abundantly. God bless.
Thanks for the update. Prayers continue for you and your sweet Janet. May His Holy Spirit be within Janet to heal her and over her to guide her physicians for a successful and comfortable treatment. In Jesus’ Holy name I pray.
So glad she’s handling the chemo; and as you say, much can happen in a few months. My prayers continue for you both.
We are all still prying for her - rest be assured....
May God have mercy on you family and heal your wife for many happy years to come. For His glory.

Prayers up for both of you.
I’m sorry you don’t have better news. I pray you and Janet get the most out of the time you have, and that you have a good long time. God bless you both.
Praying.

By HIS stripes we were healed. Amen.
