As much as I like Cruz, and had hopes for his Presidency, I’m inclined to think that, if he was born in Canada, he’s not eligible. My only question, is where were these people when Obama was running?

The entire argument at the link is based on US Immigration law defining a citizen. It never once defines Natural Born citizen. So, when the author says, ' Cruz acquired his citizenship, at birth, through his mother. He is a natural born US citizen and eligible to be President of the United States.', I can only surmise he overlooked that fact.

Print out a birth certificate, heck, do it with a crayon. Put it out there and dare them to challenge it. That opens the door and puts the current fake up for discussion also.

If Cruz overcomes the one whose turn it is and becomes the Republican nominee the election will be 98% about his eligibility. The Democrats will talk about nothing else. The MSM will talk about nothing else. As a result the Republicans will talk about nothing else. A couple of bloggers will raise other subjects but the comments to their blogs will be 99% about eligibility and most of those comments will be government generated. the counter subject of the kenyan’s eligibility will not be heard at all. It will be forbidden to talk about such a blatantly racist subject. Can Cruz win an election on Eligibility?

Hell the kenyan is not even a citizen. He is an Indonesian citizen which he never renounced and which is particular citizenship is incompatible altogether with retention of American citizenship which he never reclaimed. He is an illegal alien.

The gist of the blogger's position appears to be that the United States Customs Service Policy Manual requirements applied to "citizen" status override the Constitution's requirement for a "natural born citizen". Our Founders, and all true patriots, find that completely unacceptable. Being a "citizen" was not good enough, or the Founders would not have used the wording "natural born citizen".

I like Ted Cruz. The person he supports for President I will very likely support myself. But until the Supreme Court or Congress man-up and amend the Constitution to remove the "natural born" requirement, I can not / will not support a run for president by anyone less than a natural born citizen (one having pure allegiance to the United States, and being purely within the jurisdiction of the United States). If Cruz runs, he (like Mitt Romney) will lose.

Tell you what it reminds me of. Three people in a room. Two of them are talking ABOUT the other one, as if the other one isn’t even there.

• You (the people) voted for them (Congress/President), live with what they (Congress/President) pass.

If enough people vote for Cruz or any other person, regardless of birth, who runs and gets enough votes to win, supporters can point to the Roberts decision.

Do you actually want 9 lawyers deciding who our candidates can and can’t be? How quickly you have forgotten Obamacare. The Supremes aren’t God - and sometimes they make horrible decisions. Why is it that Americans leave our fate up to a bunch of lifers who sit around in black robes playing God with our lives. Do you really believe they care that much about the Constitution? There may be 4 who do, but the other 5 - not so much.
