The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced a new fair housing regulation aimed at increasing the diversity of America's neighborhoods.
Too many of our minorities are trapped in blighted, high-crime neighborhoods solely because they can't afford to live where conditions are better, HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan declared. We are launching a two-pronged approach to remedy this social injustice.
Prong number one, Donovan says, will be an intensive data collection and analysis of the racial composition of every neighborhood in the country. Prong number two will be aiding the integration of an appropriate racial and ethnic mix of inhabitants.
Aids to integration are reported to entail government subsidies for persons who otherwise couldn't afford to live in better neighborhoods and a relocation permit process to interdict movements that would tend to undermine the intent of the program.
Ideally, we'll erase the distinctions between so-called good and bad neighborhoods, Donovan promised. Not only would we achieve a more equitable distribution of the population, we'd also eliminate the significant cost of people needlessly moving around in search of a better neighborhood. Every place would be the same.

Wonder what kind of neighborhood Donovan lives in ?
Gated.
Yup:)
Hows this for change America? You will be subjected to the same drug infested, rape rob and pillage environment that they encourage and support. Social engineering COMMIES that uses your tax dollars to FU. We will now enjoy section 8 low income housing in all our communities EXCEPT the communitites where our cretan politicains and legislators live, “oh no we cant have this here in our area” OPT OUT OF OBAMACARE, SOCIAL ENGINEERING PROJECTS, sounds like they got a problem with thier own plan when it comes to thier own and thier families, no?
I don’t think they will get the “welcome mat” put out for them should they come to my neighborhood.
Lots of “rednecks” here abouts, with guns too.
a relocation permit process to interdict movements that would tend to undermine the intent of the program.
Huh? You need a permit to move and it must be to an approved ‘ethnically diverse’ area?
Totalitarian. It’ll never make it in court.
('Scuse me, I have to go down to Irish Mike's Kosher Halal Soul Food Deli and pick up some fry bread...be right back.)
Good one John!
Copper wire, copper pipe, radiators, aluminum cans, aluminum siding...
While satire can be fun it can never approach the inky, swirling depths of lunacy endemic in the “diversity” crowd.
Exactly! Hussein looks at all those red states with the suburban communities and it fills him with seething anger. Not only that, they tend to vote Republican! What's up with that? Gotta balance out the voting demographic!
Central planning at its finest.
You kidding? All it will take is another briefcase full of cash and voila! New interpretation of the law!
Exactly! Let’s start with Massachusetts, Vermont, and Rhode Island. A bunch of college towns come to mind too.
I vote for the Obozo family vacation take place at an overnight hotel in inner city Detroit instead of that bastion of diversity - Martha’s Vineyard.
I know this is satire, but there will be nothing but bad 'hoods if they do this. I bet Donovan would love to have a bunch of "hoodie wearing 0 bummer's sons" in his neighborhood. There won't be many want to move to our town. No public transportation to speak of, no malls to have flash mobs, gun behind every front door, etc.
Yep, that’s it in a nutshell.
Too many of our minorities are trapped in blighted, high-crime neighborhoods solely because they can’t afford to live where conditions are better,
Let me fix this.
Too many of our Communities become blighted high crime neighborhoods when HUD moves them in with section 8 housing.
What we are doing here is trying to blight more expensive communities. So instead of buying them Homes in the $200,000 dollar range we will be buying them McMansions in the $500,000 dollar range.
Welcome to the big leagues Leroy, bring yo criminal family and yo junk car on blocks and park it in the driveway of a $500,000 dollars home.
Oh!! and don’t bother to buy a lawn mower the rug rats will root up the grass in a couple of weeks.
Unfortunately, this isn’t satire. My neighborhood has been socially engineered for a number of years now, thanks to Section 8 and settlement of a federal lawsuit that required designation of a certain number of homes for the “poor.” This once beautiful and thriving neighborhood now looks like a dump.
Anyway, thanks once again for the ping.
Those selections will probably be farmed out to Sharpton or Jackson.
“Interdiction,” “relocation,” “permit”
Excellent choice of words, John. “Be not afraid, Jews. The trains are taking you to a better place.”
