This is new information received today from a FOIA request to the Social Security Administration by attorney Orly Taitz. She posted it on her website which Free Republic will not let you post a link to in the Source URL box above. Here is an excerpt from the press release she posted. The link to the press release in typed in below.
c. It is not clear, why did Ann Dunham apply for a change from Dunham to Dunham Obama in 1963, when she divorced Barack Obama senior. One would expect her to change her name in February 1961, when she reportedly married Obama, not in 1963, when she divorced him. This application for SSN change for Ann Dunham was released for the first time today.
d. It is not clear, why did Ann Dunham apply for yet another change of her SSN card in June of 1995. This June 1995 application for a change of the SSA card was released for the first time in SSA July 29 2013 letter to Taitz and was received today. This change was made only a few months before Ann Dunham passed away on November 7, 1995. Incidentally, November 7 happens to be the day when the Communist revolution in celebrated in Russia. Ann Dunham passed away at home with only her two children present. There was no attending physician at the time of her death, no autopsy by a coroner. Her remains were cremated and buried at sea. Typically there is a requirement for a permit for a burial at sea. There is no record of such permit ever being granted or requested.
I don’t particularly care what anyone else may contend, I’ve read enough history on the period to understand that the LAST THING an african native would elect to be described as is a NEGRO.

My hunch is his Grandad is his dad and some random black woman is his Mom. He may know this or not. So the “mom” stanley who raised him- is his sister. Just my theory...that would explain why there’s no p.g. photos of stanley ann, why there’s no record of her giving birth at ant hospitol, and why he looks like Grandpa.

The Hawaii state Registrar Onaka Letters of Verification state: “the information in the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth for Mr. Obama that you attached with your request matches the original records in our files.”
The copy that Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett attached and the copy that Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach attached were both copies of the whitehouse.gov PDF image of the Obama Long Form Birth Certificate.
Federal Rule of Evidence 1005 spells out when a copy of a public record can be entered into evidence. Rule 1005 states: “The proponent may use a copy to prove the content of an official record — or of a document that was recorded or filed in a public office as authorized by law — if these conditions are met: the record or document is otherwise admissible; and the copy is certified as correct in accordance with Rule 902(4) OR IS TESTIFIED TO BE CORRECT BY A WITNESS [Dr. Onaka] WHO HAS COMPARED IT WITH THE ORIGINAL [Dr. Onaka compared the whitehouse.gov PDF image version to the original long form birth certificate which is stored in Dr. Onaka’s safe and he found that they matched].
If no such copy can be obtained by reasonable diligence, then the proponent may use other evidence to prove the content.”

Late to the party again OBot. We went over that deceptive legalize (BS) letter here from front to back when it came out. And "original records" would "match" the Obama BS original amendments [records] that Hawaii has from Obama. LoL.
You know as well as I do FogBlower that anyone who said "claimed" or "witnessed" a Hawaiian birth in Hawaii, Hawaii would issue a birf certificate. It's all there in the Hawaiian statutes that covered the time Obama was birf'd. The so-called "original records" can be amended at anytime according to Hawaiian statute.
Here' an 'original thought' FogNutter. Obama can submit his "original record" to any number of courts where suit has been brought against him so to show proof that he was born in the United States. Pretty simple even simple enough for Obots to understand.
We all know why Obama has not because all Obama has are forgeries for gullible, public consumption. Gee, Obama can't submit his forgeries to a court of law as that is an unmitigated crime. Lying in public is so much easier to do and get away with it.

Only the state of Hawaii has Obama’s original records. Obama has copies. If any court wants to inspect the original, vault edition, they can issue a court order for its release.
If any member of Congress wanted to view the original birth certificate, they can go to the Chairman of the House Government Operations and Oversight Committee and request that Chairman Darrell Issa issue a congressional subpoena for Dr, Onaka and the original birth document to appear before the committee.

Yes, if you are saying that Grandma Dunham died (in 2008, just before Election Day) with only her children at her side and without any medical record or autopsy report, and that the body was immediately cremated with her ashes thrown into the ocean, that would probably be true.
But, according to the 1995 published obituary in the Honolulu Advertiser, Stanley Ann Dunham (or Sotoro) died in Straub Hospital, presumably from (ovarian) cancer.
The notion in the posted article that Stanley Ann died in 1995 without any medical attention could well be due to confusion with the circumstances surrounding Grandma Dunham's later death.

I have some experience in this field and I would suggest that the end of the name would be “crammed” into a small space, NOT the beginning. Has this ever been looked into?
OT, with all the money being spent one would think they would finance Virginia’s family to obtain her BC. The could provide her legal assistance which is probably the most expensive part of the endeavor. Why has no one tried this? There are so many maybe’s in this case. Perhaps someone should get the brother to file in court. No standing issue would be apparent.
