Dude, it's a C-Class. The entry-level Mercedes. It's the Sentra of Mercedes. I know, you think everyone is jealous of you. Here's a helpful hint: they're not. In fact, all Mercedes owners look down on you for driving the brand's Corolla. And drivers of other makes just kinda feel sorry for you, because. Well, you're. Trying. Too. Hard.
7. Buick LeSabre
You're stuck behind a car that is signaling right, but won't move. You're following a car going 20 in a 35. You're shouting at the car in front of you, which refuses to turn right on red, despite the fact that there isn't another car in sight...continued

It could happen. My grandfather used his golf cart to zip around his retirement community most of the time....get to the course, club, maybe run by the store to pick up a bottle of scotch on the way home. Worked great, was cheap transportation, and freed up the Cadillac for my grandmother to drive in town....at 30 mph in the Left Lane with her blinker on.
I could see Grandpa using a Smart car for the same type thing. Perfect, cheap transport for anything within a couple of miles and on roads travelled at less than 35 mph.
So long as he had his Cadillac (he changed them out about every other year or so) for when he really wanted to go places... he'd be fine. :-)
I "may" have something that "seems" to have that effect.
see my post #2
If you see a car with an Obozo sticker on it ... I’d stay well clear as it is a pretty sure bet that the driver is an imbecile
Not mine. It has a USA sticker, US flag sticker, a Patriotic To The Bone sticker(with a labrador retriever) and a pro-life sticker. So I guess I am an "exception". I live in Buffalo and the AWD Subaru's are wonderful in the snow.
hehe
I’m gonna get rich on an app that sends a text when the light turns green.
Buicks are evil....Camrys are the Devil’s Compact....
"Thaaanks..."
I get passed by more of these than most cars. Alot of times in the far right hand lane. Don't know why.
1990's-Vintage Modified Honda Civic - the infamous "Ricer", equipped with fart pipe, sub-$250 body kit, partially-finished paint job and Formula One-style spoiler.
Bingo. You'll see their body parts laying on the side of the road alot.
Since it is an Audi, you are lucky it does not have a spot in a junk yard, yet....
Yes, I owned an Audi once, just once.
Interesting that the BMW 3 Series has held it’s obnoxiousness for so long. Back when I lived on the east coast in the 80s, we used to refer to people driving a 3 series as a “Beemer Brain”. Thought they were so hot because they had a BMW, even though it was, to quote the article on the Mercedes C-Class, “the Sentra of BMWs”. Drove like maniacs, thinking they had the fastest thing on 4 wheels.
And, if you ever saw a BMW 3-series with New Jersey license plates and a “Baby on Board” sticker in the window, get off that road IMMEDIATELY unless you have good insurance.
There are only 3 obnoxious cars on the road:
1) The one in front of you, going slower than you want to go
2) The one behind you, wanting you to go faster than you are
3) The one who passes you
I’d guess most cars around Seattle have lib bumper stickers.
New Subies, Volvos and VWs don’t seem to have the counter-culture appeal they once did.
Times change. The metrosexual men and women who favor Mini Coopers seem to have no clue that the Mini became legend as a rally car that started many famous race drivers on their careers.
Sure glad my LeSabre (aka: the Geezer-mobile)is a 2005 instead of one of those irritating 2004’s! But to compensate we also have a 1-ton diesel dually, great for looking down on a Toyota Pius while passing. As for the Pius, they’re the worst polluters, belching out never-ending quantities of irritating smug.
I expected a prius to be on there - I do own one. Many of the folks who drive them are snobs and enviro freaks. In my case I got a job that is 50 miles from home so I do 100+ miles/day. First year I put on 30k+ miles.
I stay to the right, run about 5 over the limit on average and make the commute earlier than rush hour in the mroning, and later than it in the evening to avoid additional traffic...plus I get more work done.
It’s an ok car - my last tank of gas I got 63 mpg, so I won’t diss the thing. But I understand where some of the other drivers cause it to deserve the rating.
I kant stand a good many c class mereceds drivers. Bunch uh wannabes who would be equally shallow and comfortable driving a Stab.
If you’re gonna buy a Mercedes get an E Class.
That way everyone will at least you’ve made and that you’re not some posuer ....
CatherineofAragon ~ That's the truth. I would add that if the driver is female, she's invariably ugly.
Although a smile, or even a pleasant expression would raise half of them to passable.
I’ve had a very different experience. It’s not my first nor my last I expect.
What used to crack me up about SOCal BMW drivers was the way they drove around with their fog/driving lights on at night, without fail.
As if to say "I am a highly skilled Euro driver, out of my way".
I asked one twit why he drove around with them on all the time, and he said: "They can't be turned off". Not kidding. Should have bet the airhead $100 that I could have them off in 30 seconds.
