After former US Defense Secretary Robert Gates considers the countrys involvement in the Syrian civil war a mistake, another prominent politician is riding the waves to drown the governments decision to support Syrian rebels.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin threw scathing remarks last Saturday against the governments plans to provide weapons and ammunition to Syrian opposition groups. She said the US government should let Allah sort it out instead of meddling in the affairs of the troubled nation.
Palin issued the statement as a closing talk during the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference in Washington, D.C. last June 15, as reported in ABC News.
Her criticisms against the current US government and particularly President Barack Obama included statements such as where is our commander in chief? and until we have someone who knows what theyre doing, I say let Allah sort it out.
She was also critical about the uselessness of Americas involvement in the Syrian conflict, saying that the issue cannot be resolved by the US because the radical Islamic countries arent even respecting basic human rights, where both sides are slaughtering each other as they scream over an arbitrary red line, Allah Akbar.
The US Military confirmed Thursday that they are planning to provide lethal aid to Syrian rebels. The decision was spawned from earlier reports that Syrian president Bashar Assad used chemical weapons against the opposition forces.
Palin received applause and laughter not only for her controversial criticism during the event, but also because of her candor and confidence as she delivered the closing speech.
Let the Muzzies kill each other off. How is THAT not the perfect strategy?
Thus spaketh Madame President.....
And so do I.
I think we should also abandon Afghanistan. In fact, why is the world our responsibility. Let them fight it out and kill each other off.
Gotta love it! GO SARAH!!!
When bad guys are killing bad guys the best strategy is to get out-of-the-way, let them kill each other and look for opportunities afterword.
I agree.
We were justified to go in there post-9/11 to crack some heads, and decimate the Taliban supporters -- but 'Nation-building' was always a bridge too far, and never was going to happen.
And now with the current 'folks' in the White House - they've defined the Rules of Engagement to put our troops continually in harm's way. Just leave it.
Right now we have Iran’s cats-paw versus muslims who slaughter Christians.
If we say we’re looking to support the Jeffersonian freedom-fighters, it should be easy to tell them that our support is contingent upon their defending Christian non-combatants among them. Let not a hair on their heads be touched if you want our support.
But we haven’t done that and it doesn’t seem to have even occurred to us. So the rebels massacre Christians and still we fall all over ourselves trying to arm them and support them.
I have never supported our intervention arming insurgents in Middle Eastern countries. This will always be a problem. Radical islam is not something we should support. it will ALWAYS come back to hurt us
love this woman , I would love to see her and Cruz run on the ticket and to hell with the GOP AND the elft
“All non-Security Council members with nuclear weapons have one year to disarm or they will be annihilated.”
My position is that whenever we get ready to leave Afghanistan we should go and forcibly take Pakistan’s nukes.
To bad the Obama Regime and the State Department are committed to supporting our country’s enemies. Congress should do something - like NOT fund the State Department.
Agree! Otherwise they will use the arms and ammo to kill us.
BTW, strong language/violence warning for the above clip.
The Syrian "rebels" are A#1 muslim Christian-killers!!!!
Of course, obama, the clintons, and Samantha Power support muslim Christian-klillers every single time!!!! Look at Bosnia, Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Egypt, Libya, etc.
The muslim traitor obama should be impeached and convicted, and obama, the clintons, and Samantha Power should be tried for war crimes--right here in the USA, NOT in some phony "human rightser" kangaroo "court"!!!!
We should have been out of Afghanistan in late 2002 / early 2003, right after the punitive expedition phase, before the meals on wheels phase.
I will admit I didn’t realize it at the time, but then I don’t get paid to think about these things full time.
linky no work...although, I’m not certain I want to see it anyway.
