They were also quite rampant during the Clinton Administration too. It actually a golden time if you happened to be hosting a radio show that dealt with such topics.
The only thing I know is that when the first foreign troops are used in America against Americans the second Civil war has started. Lock and Load , it’s a free Fire zone.
We seem to have become a country where -- even in Afghanistan -- you need to collect evidence and hold a trial before you can shoot back at the fellow shooting at you. I'm generally very much in favor of due process -- but our politicians have created a complex legal world in which it is VERY hard to do anything worthwhile -- and they, of course, with their hands on the levers of power, can do pretty much anything they want.
When the balloon goes up, I think restraint is out the window, and the guys in foreign uniforms are walking targets. And the politicians who enabled that? I see no reason for trials.

For the last forty years or more now I’ve heard similar things said in similar ways about various things.
And you know what? I truly believe that the Movers and Shakers, the Charlatans and Politicians, The Powers behind the Throne and on the Throne itself have no real idea of the amount of pain, anguish and general anger they have been building up all of that time by their policies and actions. They too are subject to their own version of “Normalcy Bias” and when it finally blows....
I expect to see hell on Earth, not just here in America. I expect the flames of passion, anger and even hatred fanned and all the nations of the world will truly find out how inter-connected we all are.
