I believe it is time for the American people to demand that a special counsel is appointed, but I believe for the first time in American history we should also demand that there is citizen oversight, that there is somebody not connected to either of the two parties, Glenn said. It is time to appoint a special council to explore impeachment of this president.

“You know damn well he knew about the IRS.”
Jack Ryan, anyone?
This is what he does as a part of his political efforts.
..... and it took him a whole 3 days to mention it after it came out!
Somebody needs to splain to Beck that impeachment of the President is the Purveiw of the Congress not the mob on the street.
There is nothing but disappointment waiting down the road of impeachment. The media will go 24/7 about Republican witch hunting, and the people who voted Obama in, like the people who think Tom Hanks is the most trustworthy guy in the world, will believe all the Obama cult propaganda they are fed. Then there is the real possibility of Republican House members getting squeamish from all the bad publicity. Their backbones will turn to mush. After that, providing the votes to impeach, it is a certainty the Senate will not convict. There has to be a better way for conservatives and Republicans to spend their political time and capital.
I am sure Andersen Cooper would love to fill the role of the GIMP...
As a reminder, here is how the Senate voted on the impeachment of Bill Clinton:
Article One: Perjury before the Grand Jury
Guilty - 45 (Republicans 45, Democrats 0)
Not Guilty - 55 (Republicans 10, Democrats 45)Democrats voting guilty: 0
Republicans voting not guilty: 10
Chafee, John (R-RI)
Collins, Susan (R-ME)
Gorton, Slade (R-WA)
Jeffords, Jim (R-VT)
Shelby, Richard (R-AL)
Snowe, Olympia (R-ME)
Specter, Arlen (R-PA)
Stevens, Ted (R-AK)
Thompson, Fred (R-TN)
Warner, John (R-VA)
Article Two: Obstruction of Justice
Guilty - 50 (Republicans 50, Democrats 0)
Not Guilty - 50 (Republicans 5, Democrats 45)Democrats voting guilty: 0
Republicans voting not guilty: 5
Chafee, John (R-RI)
Collins, Susan (R-ME)
Jeffords, Jim (R-VT)
Snowe, Olympia (R-ME)
Specter, Arlen (R-PA)
Impeachment doesn’t really matter you make the remainder of his presidency moot by exposing his lies and destroying his credibility... Republicans should also open a front on government malfeasance under Obama and call for a repeal of Obamacare since the government has abused its authority by targeting individuals because of political affiliation why in the world should people be worried about the government denying them healthcare because of who they vote or don’t vote for... The winning play is to make this all about the mismanagement of government under Obama’s watch.....
And Obama did not know back in 2010/2011.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_privilege
“The Supreme Court stated: “To read the Article II powers of the President as providing an absolute privilege as against a subpoena essential to enforcement of criminal statutes on no more than a generalized claim of the public interest in confidentiality of nonmilitary and nondiplomatic discussions would upset the constitutional balance of ‘a workable government’ and gravely impair the role of the courts under Article III.” Because Nixon had asserted only a generalized need for confidentiality, the Court held that the larger public interest in obtaining the truth in the context of a criminal prosecution took precedence.”
The head of the IRS is a political appointee.
And Obama did not know back in 2010/2011.
abuse of power; one of the charges against Nixon was him using the IRS for political pay back.

You KNOW that "National Security" is the catch-all phrase used to protect Discovery, when the President wants to exert Executive Privelege, and he's a Socialist/Progressive/Democrat???? The State-Run-Media will be drumming "Racist", "Partisan", "Politically-motivated", "Frivolous" at ANY effort to Impeach the Mulatto Messiah.....
Yes - past time!
The deomcRATS will never vote for conviction unless there is a criminal conviction first.
I understand the lying to congress thing, unless the Speaker has the Sergent at Arms arrest the POS at the next State of the Union speech this is just tilting at windmills.
Agreed.
An attempt to impeach would probably succeed in the republican House.
But an impeachment conviction would fail in the Senate because no democrats would vote guilty.
Which is what happened during the Senate trial on the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1999.
And it would inflame democrats and set them upon a vendetta against republicans.
Which is what happened after the House impeachment of Bill Clinton.
A more realistic way to capitalize on Obama's treachery is to discredit him in the eyes of the public and render him even more ineffective as a president.
As you said, keep the scandals and his incompetence in the eyes of the voters.
We can hope that by 2014 and 2016 they will be sick and disgusted with Obama and democrats in general.
The downside of both options is that democrats are much better at this than republicans, and democrats will still have the media working hard for them.
No. Not yet.
Let them... after the AP revelation tonight... I think that obama will not get the adoring press from here on out.
LLS
3 scandals in 3 days for the Obama Regime! And BenghaziGate is now really igniting! Impeach!!!
I hope you're right, but I bet the MSM will continue to shill for the usurper right up to the bitter end.
