Just how many so-called 'new Americans' are we talking about?
In 1986, President Ronald Reagan granted amnesty .... At the time, we were told that population was about 1.5 million. However, amnesty was actually granted to three million of those who crossed our borders illegally.
Between 1987 and 2005, the average annual number of apprehensions made at the U.S./Mexican border was roughly 1.3 million, with arrests reaching a peak of 1.6 million in 2000.
However, in June 2010, former president of the National Border Patrol Council, T.J. Bonner told Fox News that for every person caught trying to enter this country illegally over the U.S./Mexican border…at least two more successfully make it here.
"We’re about 33 percent effective. It's like shoveling sand against the tide," said Bonner.
So, using Bonner’s rather conservative estimate, 41.8 million illegal aliens have entered the U.S. since the 1986 amnesty.
DHS also deports those who entered the country legally on legitimate visas, but who either committed a crime while here or simply overstayed their visa.
So, we do not know exactly how many removals involved those who crossed into the U.S., by eluding the Border Patrol. However, when the DHS is deporting 400,000 foreign nationals while an estimated 1 million crossed the border illegally that same year…it is obvious that the federal government is losing ground each and every year.
Furthermore, when you consider that all of the amnesty bills proposed since 2006, contain a provision to eventually allow each amnestied illegal alien, to then bring 4 to 5 relatives to the U.S., you are looking at a truly astounding number of individuals.
If Congress does pass an amnesty bill, the resulting chain-migration could translate into an additional 200 million new U.S. citizens, or legal residents, practically overnight.

FURTHERMORE...these numbers don't include the millions of anchor babies born every year and become eligible to vote DEMOCRAT every year.
The govt won't tell us the truth, because they know the American people would be outraged and would figure that the border IS NOT secure.

That’s a lot of scofflaws. Who then engage in identity theft and/or falsified identity presentation. Who then engage in under the counter payments and/or underreported earnings to the IRS. Some whom them wire money back to Mexico, wonder if any of them then seek public assistance because “they have no money of their own”.
The list of crimes snowballs.
Next they will want an exemption in prohibitions on government employment and financial assistance for failing to register for selective service.
Once they get that ‘free’ Obamacare, our premiums will “necessarily skyrocket”.

Yes, that 20 million figure was in the mid 2000’s. Bear Stearns came up with it with some impressive means of figuring it.

If we use this number from 2005, that puts the number by now at well over 20 million.
These numbers are much more realistic than the bogus data provided by the government.
Back around 10 - 12 years when George ‘Dubya’ Bush was pushing his illegal amnesty, we were told there were around 12 million already here, with about 1 million new arrivals every year. Even then there were non-government estimates of a more realistic 20 to 30 million.
Now we are told there are only 10 million here.
It sounds like these numbers are worked up by same people who do the calculations for Obama’s monthly employment/unemployment reports.
If you want to see a reaction from the pro-amnesty crowd just ask them if they are willing to limit their proposed amnesty to the 10 million illegals they claim are here now and to deport all those in excess of 10 million.

Even on the day of the 9/11 attacks when Dubya issued a no-fly order for the entire country he gave personal permission for the Saudis to receive special treatment.
He allowed them to fly aircraft out loaded with Saudi citizens who did not have to go through any kind of inspection - no ID check, no checks for belongings, items being transported, etc.
I would still vote for him over Gore or Kerry but it would be still be close to a Hobson's Choice, just like it was back in 2000 and 2004 - the lesser of two evils.
