Thanks Perseverando.
In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, LaPierre accused gun-control advocates of offering illogical solutions to the problems of gun violence.

'Sean Hannity even talks in his sleep.'
.....I KNOW AND he's pretty good at what he does ....and of great value to our country...it's just that.....ANN is so DAMN SMART and gets to the point with rapier like wit SO FAST ... ..he's just not in her league... Therefore whatever happens to come out of his pie hole, when she has the floor, devolves into distractive drivel...PSSSST SEAN...ANNIE needs not yer help...BUTTON IT, SON!
The other sap (under this limited circumstance) is BOR O'RIELLY...when she deigns to grace his low brow hut...he tends to go into this smug, amused and stupid 'high horse' 'Look at me, I'm takin ANN to school' schtick. He inevitably makes him self look and sound like the ass he becomes. An ass riding on an ass not on a high horse...haahahahaha.
The producers on both shows really need to get into these lower case poseurs' ear pieces with a resounding 'SHUT UP AND LET THE BRAINY BEAUTY TAKE YOU TO SCHOOL, FOOL' hahaahaahh It just IS what IT IS...!
SHUT THEIR PIE HOLES, THEY MUST

I’ve long wondered how it can be a crime not to report illegally gained income to the IRS. Al Capone had 5th amendment rights, too. But fedguv makes the rules up as it goes.

The more common answer would be to deny your scenario out of hand. They’ll say they’re blahdeblah percent more likely to shoot themselves or a loved one. And maybe they’re right, I don’t know. Certainly having a gun has to up your odds of being shot, just like how were I never to drive or ride in a car I’d cut down on my odds of dying in a fiery wreck.
For some reason our civilization is comfortable with the awfully bloody risk of automobile travel. We’ve seen the benefits and aren’t willing to go back to animals. Most people can’t see the benefits of guns, and wildly overrate the risk.

I’m going to trust my instinct, my inner voice, that which I believe to be the Protector, or the Holy Spirit. If the time I believe will come, arrives, I know I shall act as I should.
I was tested once. Long story that I won’t relate right now. But, I had reason to believe an imminent threat was at the door while sitting for my young niece. I’d never held a gun in my hands before then.
But it was where it had always been in my parents closet, and it was natural for me, I defended, stood ground. I knew at that moment I could do what was necessary with no regret.
(Funny story actually, the guy just wanted to pay his feed bill) but that’s the thing bout God, sometimes a situation arises to to show us we CAN step up to the plate with a cool head and clear intent.
