A New Jersey mother was arrested and told to turn over her guns after reading the Constitution and peacefully protesting at a tax dispute forum, she says.
Eileen Hart was with her husband Keith and her 7-year-old daughter on Saturday at the Gloucester Community Center to dispute a mandatory home re-evaluation that would roughly double her property value (and therefore dramatically increase her rates), objecting on multiple grounds. As an Orthodox Jew, she refused to have the inspectors in her home when her husband was away at work. As an American citizen, she objected to the seemingly arbitrary reappraisal, noting that she is not planning on selling her home and hasnt renovated her kitchen in 30 years.
If you believe in the Constitution, the odds are you are an enemy of the state, according to the Regime.
She should have never mentioned a gun in her threat to return.
About 3 years ago my daughter’s godmother was talking to local school administrators and arguing in defense of my daughter. Her threat to the 3 school officials was for them to appear at her office in one week at the IRS with their last 10 years of tax returns, because she was auditing them.
It appeared to work, because they caved.
Who cares what I think, if its my gut feeling its my feeling, not yours.
“an Orthodox Jew with guns? Im impressed.”
The Orthodox being armed is really not a paradox. They learn from both the Torah/Talmud and from history.
It is the Deformed - oops, make that the Reformed Jews who keep voting for career commies like Debbie Wasserman-whatever. Those are the hoplophobic Jews.
In Miami, there is a group Bagels and Bullets which has numerous members with real machine guns. Nothing like showing a friend a gun while a stream of hot brass cascades across ones left side as one checks out ones friend on a new toy.
:-)
PS Not a Libtard in the bunch.
No, she allegedly made that threat. She denies it, and the witnesses who were there say they never heard it. The police didn’t even know about it until after they investigated her and discovered she has two registered firearms.
She was an idiot to think she could speak out in public against the politicians who control her very existence. She should remember this this.
And the other this too. ; )
This is the modus operandi. You have a disagreement with a government official, they will phone the cops, claiming you threatened them and the cops have a reason to get a warrent to search your home and remove any, guns you have, than force you to spend a mint to get them back.
Provided she actually DID make those threats. You know how to tell if a government official is lying? Watch their lips. If their lips move they're lying.
Taken, and logged for future reference. Enjoy the unicorns.

I am shocked how easily people here believe the media & the politicians. Several assume she threatened them. I don’t.
Best to GET OUT OF JERSEY
Every time I’ve had a big dispute with a government official I”ve shown up with the cops.
Same thoughts
Somehow the story jumps from an argument about tax appraisals to reading the constitition, then to a (accused) gun threat, then she is ‘asked’ by police if she minds answering some questions down-town but she cant ride with her husband to the police station, then she is told to turn over her guns for safe keeping, now she hired a lawyer to get them back
Is this really the story she told her lawyer?
If I was upset about a tax appraisal and went to complain to them about it I wouldnt bring up the subject of owning guns to them.
Is this some sort of joke?
She didnt. Not sure why you think she did.
So, do these assessors have a “right” to enter her home for an inspection? I don’t live in NJ, but I had a situation where an assessor was on my property measuring the house dimensions. It was late, I was alone, and after asking him a few questions, he started making me very nervous. I asked him to leave and then he started geting really beligerent. I threatened to call the police, he finally left, but not after sitting in his truck making all kinds of notes.
When I complained to the county office that does the assessments, they said he had every right to enter my property without my permission. Pretty frightening, actually. Guess they’ve gotten lucky and people haven’t shot them for tresspassing or had dogs like I used to have.
