The Ways In Which Democrats And Republicans Really Are Like Cats And Dogs...

About a year ago some liberal "humorist" made a comparison of Republicans to dogs. I put humorist in quotes because I thought he tried way too hard, and his examples were too contrived (read for yourself here).

A very clever commenter over at iOwnTheWorld turned it on it's head, and I made it into a graphic.

I’ve often used the dogs and fleas analogy. If you ask a dog and his fleas to vote on whether or not to maintain their relationship, nobody wonders how that vote goes.

I did myself the disfavor of reading the original article. As much as they try, liberals are just not funny. Liberals simply love to pile on to vicious, ham-handed insults. That's what they call humor. No objective person could call that funny.

The fact that Al Franken made a living on that for decades should have been a sign of the neo-fascist age in which we are living.

Actually, conservatives are like cats. They are independent-minded and will never sit, lie down, fetch, or roll over at the command of a master.

I agree. A dog is always looking for a leader, or they want to lead. They are a pack animal. They want to fit into the group. That sounds like a democrat to me. They either want to follow someone blindly. Or they want you to follow them.

Cats are independent animals. They don’t want to lead anyone, and they don’t want to be lead by anyone.

Excellent. I’ve always favored the example of three wolves and a lamb voting on what’s for dinner, but the fleas better embody the essential parasitism of what is happening in America today.
