This seven minute video from the New York Times shows the story of Chris Williams in Montana. This makes me really glad that I wrote in Ron Paul for President in 2008, and voted for Libertarian Gary Johnson in 2012. I also applaud Green Party candidate Jill Steins position on this issue.
For those of you who voted for Obama, well, I hope youre happy with his actions against medical marijuana. I hope youre happy that this person could get life in prison. I hope youre happy that people with AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, and other illnesses, who have prescriptions for medical marijuana from their doctors, are being denied the medicine that they need.

“But try to regulate BACON, soda sizes or smoking...”
Brilliant, Marie.
Your story illustrates the lunacy of the WOD.
Unfortunately, the comments from the armchair drug warriors also illustrate a fatal flaw in 21st century conservatism, which appears to be quite willing to use big government to promote and enforce their own notions of morality. Why is the 10th Amendment so difficult to understand?
But if a person sneaks over the border from Mexico in violation of our federal immigration laws, and then proceeds to commit ID Theft, Document Fraud, Social Security Fraud, Employment (I-9 Form) Fraud, and Federal Income Tax Evasion (along with other violations of our laws), the Obama administration will want to reward that illegal alien with amnesty and eventual US citizenship.
The United States, what a country!
Because you’re gay you have the right to be a flamer - not to be a flaming idiot!
Grow up - make your mother proud!
Please name one culture where cowardice is valued.
Who said anything about valuing cowardice? It’s about choice. Would you rather we as a society adopt the Bushido?
“Please name one culture where cowardice is valued.”
American Drug Warrior culture.
All LEOs involved in this sordid business must learn to shut their eyes to blatant injustices - that’s the cowardice part - moral cowardice at that!
Then there’s the intellectual bankruptcy of the Warriors - but I judge by your spammy monomaniacal posts that intellection isn’t your long suit, so I won’t bore you with history and sh*t like that.
People who use illegal drugs to escape reality are cowards. Cowards don’t like what they see in the mirror, so they don’t look at mirrors.
People who use illegal drugs to escape from reality are cowards. Cowards ultimately know they are cowards. That’s why they do no self analysis. Ironically, they are afraid to see their own cowardice.
Frankly, I think you have issues with this matter.
Regardless of how offbase your insight may be, it's certainly interesting to see somebody take so much pride in playing that one note over and over.
Kind of reminds me of the vuvuzelas at the World Cup a couple of years ago.
Right ... so let's repeal the laws that make them illegal. Problem solved.

Great point. Don’t get me started on how the jackboots are sometimes not even wearing name tags anymore, dressed like Ninja Turtles, masks, faces hidden, etc.
And, if one moron loses his footing (as happened here in Tucson with Sheriff Dipstick’s buffoons), they can gun down a Marine with a hundred rounds, all firing into the house so bravely. I saw it all on video... Whoops, we had the wrong house, the Marine really didn’t have drugs after all (other than whatever they planted there, the public never did get the whole story).
In those days, there were very few funeral parlors. MY uncle Toby was laid out in the living room of his home and those mourners paid their respects by going to the home and comforting the family... Too many people think they know whats best for the other guy...They should just mind their own business and live by their own code...Leave the rest of us alone and that goes for the government also.....
I read your post to my husband and he was very impressed. “Mind you own business and let us take care of our own.” That is where we need to get back to.
He and I have agree to ‘our way’ if things come to the worst. Agony is not what we’re looking for.

That’s easy, France!
Amen, sister.
So where do you personally find authority in the Constitution for fedgov to regulate intrastate drug policies?
Are people who use the legal drug alcohol to escape from reality likewise cowards? What ought we do about their cowardice?
Do you ever binge on drink? If not, why aren’t you fighting to re-institute alcohol prohibition?
