I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.
Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.
He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.
I prayed and thought often of this little precious child during the holidays and now. More prayers for him today. More prayers for the parents... I have no idea what they must be going through but I can only assume they are scared. The next “couple of weeks” must probably feel like a lifetime.
We will be saying special prayers for Keegan on Wednesday.((((Hugs))))Fatima
PS Did pray for Keegan when you first posted just never posted it.Father is remembering him at his Mass.
Continuing in prayer ...
Prayers for this little precious one of God’s.
Prayers lifted, for Keegan, and all who love and care for him.
May our Heavenly Father, watch over this little one.

Thank you fatima, Grandmas Iris will really appreciate it.
I’m making inquiries about UNMC and their NICU concerning their experience in treating Keegan’s type conditio. I have a cousin who now has a PhD in pediatric nursing, but who got her undergrad degree from UNMC. She taught at another nursing school in Omaha while getting her PhD from Loyola of Chicago. Also have a fairly newly minted nurse contact who is a BFF of my niece, and happens to have the same name as my daughter. Grandma Iris seems concerned about the move to UNMC from the hospital in Lincoln.
But my cousin had a great experience, albeit many years ago, with UNMC when she gave birth to preemie twins, who were treated in the UNMC NICU, it’s what inspired her to become a pediatric nurse herself.
My daughter is going to post it on her baby forum ,maybe someone knows something.Sent you a personal mail.
Prayers up.
Loving prayers for Keegan and his mother. May the Lord God who gave both of them life, sustain this tiny baby and strengthen him.
Praying for the little one
Provide comfort to the family dear Lord

Latest few "updates":
First from last Friday:
Keegan's up to 3 lbs 8 oz. Nothing real major to announce. Going to go visit him tomorrow as he is running low on moo moo juice. And the little stinker is so missable
Then from today:
"Obviously no results yet but if you have ever prayed in your life please pray the docs "best guess" for Keegan is wrong...
Something that has extrEmely short life span..
His grandma then provided the link below
from the link:
"The majority of people affected by the syndrome perish before the age of one."
Further posts, I think by his mother, but I'm not sure:
You think next time they can be wrOng in a better way
oh and if he has it there is a 25% chance any future sibilings would have it too
Pray Hard my FRiends.
Minor correction, weight update was from Saturday, not Friday.
Got it,will update everyone.
Prayers for strength for this little one to fight all that is seemingly working against him at this time.
