I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.
Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.
He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.
Prayers on the way for Keegan, his doctors, and his parents and family.
Dear Lord, please watch over Keegan and help his body do all the things it needs to do to grow safely. Amen
Prayers lifted, for Keegan and all who know and love him, and for his medical team.
Dear Lord, thank You for prayer, so we can be with You, and Keegan in spirit as You keep watch over this little one.

MANY prayers for little Keegan!!
Keegan is up in Omaha at UNMC where he was sent due to signs of hydrocephalus aka "Water on the Brain". They did an MRI and the results showed something else which they need to do further genetic tests for. Problem is those tests will take a couple weeks to a month to come back... the Genetic Dr told me they are doing 10 different tests but he is leaning towards muscular dystrophy. There are 8 different kinds of MD ranging from not too disabling to severe so even if this is what he has, we really don't know what to expect until the tests come back. There isn't a cure yet for MD just treatment, so fingers crossed that isn't what he has, but of course we will love him the same no matter what it is.
My twin granddaughters were 5 weeks premature. They “took” them then because they thought baby K was in distress. They were wrong, baby E was mild distress, but they were having some twin to twin transfusion syndrome. E was getting more calories, K more of other nutrients. E was born bigger, and is still bigger, about 4-5 lbs and 3/4 of inch. They turned 5 in November. They are very different little girls, considering they are mirror image identicals.
Prayers up for Keegan. May his development become normal as he continues to thrive.

If all things are normal aside from early delivery and low even for that gestation time birth weight then tell the family to have faith
My oldest child of five was born in 88 @ Mercy in Coconut Grove weighing only 1 pound 14 ounces
is now 24.....healthy and a royal pain in the ass
