Looking for sites useful for research

Could someone help me out, please? I'm hoping to find a couple good reference sites as useful tools for the future. I'd like to be able to research the following:

1) How much revenue the US government received on a particular year.

2) What the deficit/surplus was per month or year.

3) How much was the National Debt on a particular year.

So could someone please point me to any such sites? I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you.

It always amazes me why someone would post simple questions on FR that could easily be done the same via Google, Bing or any other search engines?

It always amazes me when people respond to simple questions when they have nothing to contribute and assume that the person asking the question hasn’t already used a search engine to find what he was looking for when they most likely have and are now asking the question because they were unsatisfied with the results.

I found a website the other day which gave you the deficit month by month and you could make excel tables out of the data, but for the life of me I can’t seem to find it again. I really wish I’d bookmarked it when I had the chance.

Congressional Budget Office

The Treasury Department

National Bureau of Economic Research

You can toss any of these at the libs. It shuts them down immediately.

Use the site: prefix in a Google search.

E.g., federal budget site:gpo.gov or U6 site:bls.gov or deficit site:cbo.gov or recession site:nber.org or fomc site:federalreserve.gov.
