This is Roger Ebert’s website. For the weekend of Friday, August 24, 2012, he has written reviews of seven new movies:
All seven of those reviews are actually dated Wednesday, August 22, 2012.
As I sit here writing this, it is Friday evening, August 24, 2012, and his website does not have a review for 2016: Obama’s America, which is the #1 movie in the country.
I suppose it’s possible that the movie was not available early for critics in Chicago to see. If that’s the case, then his review should be up tomorrow, August 25, 2012.
Over at one of Roger Ebert’s blog entries, I asked him:
Roger, when will I get to have the privilege of reading your review of the new film “2016: Obama’s America”?
He answered:
At such time as it opens theatrically here.
I responded with the following. Since I just submitted it, it has not yet been approved by Ebert:
So you’re saying that the movie which is number one all over the country is not playing in any theaters in one of biggest cities in the country? I can’t recall that ever happening before.
Actually, it’s playing at FOURTEEN different Chicago theaters:

FIRST BOX OFFICE: Anti-Obama Movie #1
By NIKKI FINKE
August 24, 2012
FRIDAY 2 PM: The anti-Obama movie 2016 Obamas America went into wider release around America today and is opening right now in first place at the domestic box office. Thats quite a feat since the Rocky Mountain Pictures political documentary is still playing in only 1,090 North American theaters or about 1/3 as many theaters as big-budget actioner The Expendables 2 (3,355 theaters).
Like I said above, I suppose it’s possible that the movie was not available early for critics in Chicago to see. If that’s the case, then his review should be up tomorrow.
The bride and I went to see it today, second showing in our town, and it was PACKED. We live in a small town of 60K and we’ve NEVER seen more than a third of the seats filled at anything. We had to sit so close to the screen I got a headache.
It was the largest crowd our local theater has ever had at ANY movie EVER. If you’ve been following Obammy like we have for six years you won’t learn anything new, but its a well done documentary and attendence is kind of like a campaign contribution for us. Go, donate your money, its a cheap donation, feed the frenzy, please!
What a lot of us don’t realize is that stuff that we all know, and take for granted, is NOT well known by the general public. This movie will educate the stupid in a wonderful way.
2 screens had it at 7:40 her in MT Pleasant SC and 1 was sold out and the other about half full.
Just got back from the showing in Williamsburg`s NewTown.. a GREAT piece by Dinesh D`Souza. Absolutely more Americans should see it!
One thing I will say.. I came away more impressed with George Obama than I ever will be of his dipsh*t half-bro in the White House.
Just so you don’t have similar posting problems in the future, here is a handy guide to posting from your blog, while retaining links, graphics and formatting.

What were you expecting? “Citizen Kane?” “Avengers”?
For it’s format (documentary) it fit the bill for me.
It’s in six theaters in the Omaha area. My theater was crowded (200+).
Just saw this in our local theatre in San Francisco North (Corvallis, OR). A surprisingly large crowd for a matinee, & considering what a leftist town this is.
I hope this movie breaks records!
My local paper listed the movie but stated it was not made available for preview for the reviewer. SE Wisconsin being shown in many theaters.
I’m waiting for Roger’s other jaw to drop.
...too soon?
The wife and I saw it tonight. Although a lot of it consisted of stuff we already knew, there was some stuff that we hadn’t known. On the other hand, the show was packed and from the comments that I heard during the movie, a lot of the people didn’t know a lot of it. Many may not be Freepers or frequent other sites that would actually report the information. Movie theater announced that it would be showing Atlas Shrugged, Part II in Oct (they didn’t show Part I).
The one thing that is not correct in the movie is that Frank Marshall Davis was mentioned as a mentor and not as his biological father...which he was. I guess it would have been stretching it to try to convince a mass audience that Davis was his real daddy.
At this point it is best to play along with the fairy tale nativity story that Obama originally told the world. That is the least of our problems right now, but the truth will come out and be proven in due to time.
The only thing is that Davis trained him to view things his way, and that was pro-union, pro-socialist, and pro-communist. Obama’s world view includes this....not just the anti-colonialist leanings so stressed in the 2016 movie.
Very good movie, though. I hope it breaks records and helps to affect the outcome of the election.
That liberal rubberface can just go STFU!!
The revolution isn’t coming, so Eebdirt & his chichi leftie broneys should sip their absinthe & go bleep themselves!
Yeah, I couldn’t believe how smart his brother is.
