Massive links and formatting?

Funny, I had no trouble .....

Roger Ebert claimed that “2016: Obama’s America,” the country’s #1 movie, is not playing in any Chicago theaters

This is Roger Ebert’s website. For the weekend of Friday, August 24, 2012, he has written reviews of seven new movies:

Premium Rush

Hit and Run

Red Hook Summer

Cosmopolis

Robot and Frank

Chicken with Plums

Nobody Else But You

All seven of those reviews are actually dated Wednesday, August 22, 2012.

As I sit here writing this, it is Friday evening, August 24, 2012, and his website does not have a review for 2016: Obama’s America, which is the #1 movie in the country.

I suppose it’s possible that the movie was not available early for critics in Chicago to see. If that’s the case, then his review should be up tomorrow, August 25, 2012.

Over at one of Roger Ebert’s blog entries, I asked him:

Roger, when will I get to have the privilege of reading your review of the new film “2016: Obama’s America”?

He answered:

At such time as it opens theatrically here.

I responded with the following. Since I just submitted it, it has not yet been approved by Ebert:

So you’re saying that the movie which is number one all over the country is not playing in any theaters in one of biggest cities in the country? I can’t recall that ever happening before.

Actually, it’s playing at FOURTEEN different Chicago theaters:

FIRST BOX OFFICE: Anti-Obama Movie #1

By NIKKI FINKE

August 24, 2012

FRIDAY 2 PM: The anti-Obama movie 2016 Obama’s America went into wider release around America today and is opening right now in first place at the domestic box office. That’s quite a feat since the Rocky Mountain Pictures political documentary is still playing in only 1,090 North American theaters – or about 1/3 as many theaters as big-budget actioner The Expendables 2 (3,355 theaters).

Like I said above, I suppose it’s possible that the movie was not available early for critics in Chicago to see. If that’s the case, then his review should be up tomorrow.

The bride and I went to see it today, second showing in our town, and it was PACKED. We live in a small town of 60K and we’ve NEVER seen more than a third of the seats filled at anything. We had to sit so close to the screen I got a headache.

It was the largest crowd our local theater has ever had at ANY movie EVER. If you’ve been following Obammy like we have for six years you won’t learn anything new, but its a well done documentary and attendence is kind of like a campaign contribution for us. Go, donate your money, its a cheap donation, feed the frenzy, please!

What a lot of us don’t realize is that stuff that we all know, and take for granted, is NOT well known by the general public. This movie will educate the stupid in a wonderful way.

One thing I will say.. I came away more impressed with George Obama than I ever will be of his dipsh*t half-bro in the White House.

Just so you don’t have similar posting problems in the future, here is a handy guide to posting from your blog, while retaining links, graphics and formatting.

1 - Go to your blog. (This one should be fairly easy for you.)

2 - Identify the blog entry you wish to repost to FreeRepublic. (Again, not a real tough one here.)

3 - Center your cursor on the blog text and right click.

4 - Select the option (toward the bottom) that says “View page source.”

5 - Find the end of the blog post and go to its last paragraph marker. It will look like this - < p >.

6 - Holding the left click down, paint everything blue up to the top of your headline for the post.

7 - Right click on the blue text and select “copy.”

8 - Come back to FreeRepublic and “paste” the copied text in the field provided for posting.

9 - Congratulations! You’ve just copied and pasted your entire blog post, complete with graphics and links to FreeRepublic. Your fans will love you for it!

Just saw this in our local theatre in San Francisco North (Corvallis, OR). A surprisingly large crowd for a matinee, & considering what a leftist town this is.

I hope this movie breaks records!

My local paper listed the movie but stated it was not made available for preview for the reviewer. SE Wisconsin being shown in many theaters.

We saw it a few nights ago. Well done. I knew all of what was brought up and it was great to see things so professionally presented.

The one thing that is not correct in the movie is that Frank Marshall Davis was mentioned as a mentor and not as his biological father...which he was. I guess it would have been stretching it to try to convince a mass audience that Davis was his real daddy.

At this point it is best to play along with the fairy tale nativity story that Obama originally told the world. That is the least of our problems right now, but the truth will come out and be proven in due to time.

The only thing is that Davis trained him to view things his way, and that was pro-union, pro-socialist, and pro-communist. Obama’s world view includes this....not just the anti-colonialist leanings so stressed in the 2016 movie.

Very good movie, though. I hope it breaks records and helps to affect the outcome of the election.

Why must people lie? It is played all over Chicago. What gain is their to lie about it not playing in Chicago?

If Michael Moore had a new lie-fest out, you could safely bet that it would be at the top of Ebert’s list.

“Massive amounts of links and formatting in this one - much easier to excerpt than to post in full.”

It’s number 13. Why do you feel the need to make stuff up?
Oh, I know.. to get more hits for your blog.
Well, your credibility is shot and you are exposed as a lying blogpimp.

And people wonder why so many folks have animosity toward
some of the fine, high-quality bloggers around here.

Because of scumbuckets like you.
