Paul Ryan’s budget plan is “reverse Robin Hood proposal” aimed at taking from “low income Americans” and giving to “the very wealthiest,” a Harvard professor said in a radio interview on Monday.

“It is not a deficit reduction program,” argued Harvard Professor of Government Theda Skocpol. “It is a way to cut taxes on the wealthy… and to just slap all of the needs of the poor and low income people under the states and say ‘good luck with that.’”

Harvard professor Theda Skocpol said in a radio interview that Paul Ryan’s budget proposal “is not a deficit reduction program.”

Skocpol predicted that it “will quickly be obvious to most Americans” that Ryan’s “breathtakingly extreme” budget plan “is a path to prosperity only for the top five percent.”

Ryan’s plan doesn’t cut enough spending. Enormous numbers of useless bureaucrats need to be laid off, pensions cut, etc. And it’s eventually going to happen regardless of tactics used by various political groups (default, repudiation, currency adjustment ahead).
