Gay/Lesbian community is blaming both FoxNews and Mike Huckabee for their failure. That is documented in stories by the New York Daily News and Los Angeles Times.
Of course, people may have been confused by the wording of the day: it was billed as Marriage Equality day. To the average person, what does Marriage Equality mean? Sounds like Double Speak.
Facebook is one source for this story.
National Marriage [promoted by Gays/Lesbians] Equality Day
Another is the Los Angeles Times.
New York Daily News is another:
As a post action report, just over 230,000 people were invited and just over 37,000 people went.
This is compared with the 600,000 that joined the Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day by liking the event on Facebook.
This event fizzled.
It probably with be George Washington Bush's fault, except he is no longer president.
Why give up lattes? They’re too easy to give up. Get a cheap Italian espresso maker. Not electric—the OLD stove-top variety ($8 for a really cheap one). Get espresso ground coffee (or grind it yourself). Make a pot (about 4 tiny cups). While it’s brewing, stick a few tablespoons of milk in a normal-sized coffee cup into the microwave (not more than 20 secs.), remove, then either whip or shake up the milk. Add the steaming coffee. Excuse me, I’m ready for another.
Sorry, but that is just too much for me to go through after I awake.
Not a morning person, lol. Gave up coffee after the morning hours.
I walked into the Starbucks my kid manages, didntknow what that it was the day for homosexuals, and it was empty except for a man reading. Totally empty, and with parking spaces all around. the biggest and busiest SB in the state.
It’s because every is homosexual appreciation day for liberal businesses.
I keep getting coupons for caribou coffee and have the darndest time finding a store that sells it!
