House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) demanded that Pope Benedict XVI stop meddling in Americas health care debate.
Its a question of experience and perspective, Pelosi asserted. Ive had five children. I know what its like to bring a child into the world. And so has every woman whos given birth. Its pure Hell.
On the other hand, theres never been a female Pope, Pelosi pointed out. No Pope has every had to suffer the pains of child birth. So, with the Pope lacking this crucial life experience, why should we consider his views on abortion sacrosanct when it is quite clear that he doesnt have the qualifications to hold a meaningful opinion?
In Pelosis view, the decision on whether health insurance should be required to cover abortions is one that ought to be reserved to those capable of appreciating its impact. To paraphrase one of our greatest presidents, it should be a the decision of the women, by the women, and for the women.

OTOH: The Pope was once a pre-born baby, not an alien hatchling.
I know this is satire, but last time I heard, every male had to come in this world initially as a fetus in his mother’s uterus. And since 1973 in this nation, the legal protection both male and female babies enjoyed for the first 9 months of their lives has disappeared. Once Nancy Pelosi proves that males never had to gestate in their mother’s wombs, then she can say males have no rigt to an opinion on this issue and not one second before.
Can you imagine the pure hell of having a nitwit like Pelosi as your mother?
This is the sort of bat-shit-crazy stuff she spouts.
Cut that out, reading your headline(s) is going to cause my blood pressure to go up. ;)
I think their policy is that they don’t hold you responsible for mortal sin if you have the mind of a pre-rational child.
She has never been an aborted baby either.
Reminds me of the old joke about the Italian man, after hearing a sermon about contraception, telling the priest “Father, you no play’a da game, you no make’a da rules!”
I second the motion!
what about kathleen sebelius? what about Joe Biden? And why now; why not 40 years ago? The republic might have been saved...
“When is the Catholic Church going to take some action against this witch? “
and that is an insult to witches!!
If Tina Fey can speak for Sarah Palin, then John Semmens can speak for Nancy Pelosi. Good one.
Pelosi is unqualified to have an opinion about Hell.
Really? Pelosi believes some people are not “qualified” to have an opinion?
