In May, Obama worked about four hours a day

At the President's press conference today, Mr. Obama made frequent pointed references that Congress needs to "do its job." He also implied that he was hard at work, in Washington and the Congress should be too. An analysis of Mr. Obama's published work schedule raises some questions about the actual level of presidential exertion.

According to the White House, the President doesn't work all that much. During the month of May, which included 21 working days, President Obama claims he worked about 92 hours (91.95 to be exact). That's according to the White House schedule, posted on the whitehouse.gov Website. That equates to an exhausting 4.4 hours per day. Excluding his grueling G8 summit travels during the week of May 23 (when he was forced to endure eight hour work days!), Mr. Obama worked an average of 3.25 hours per day when at the White House in May.

That much? I sincerely doubt that.

This was from Moo-chelle in a fundraiser email:

Friend —

For the first 10 years of our marriage, Barack and I lived in an apartment in my hometown of Chicago.

The winters there can be pretty harsh, but no matter how snowy or icy it got, Barack would head out into the cold — shovel in hand — to dig my car out before I went to work.

In all our years of marriage, he’s always looked out for me. Now, I see that same commitment every day to you and to this country.

The only way we’ll win this election is if we can rely on one another like that, all the way to November 6th. Barack is working hard, but he can’t do this alone — he needs your help.

Make a donation today to build this campaign — when you do, you’ll be automatically entered to join Barack and me for a casual dinner:

I’m kinda glad when he doesn’t work.

Thank GOD he has no work ethic! Imagine the hell he could unleash with 10-12 hour days....

It is to cringe.

The way he looks at it is that his entire constiuency doesn’t hit a damned lick at all!.....to him, he’s a nose-to-the-grindstone worker dude, you betcha!....

Neither he, nor his old lady have ever held a wage or salary job that entailed actual work.

He does a lot of damage in just 4 hours a day.

If we can get him to stop doing ANYTHING at all, we will be better off. The more time he spends on the gold course and away from the oval office the better IMHO.

I dont want this socialist usurper, or his appointees doing any more damage.

That’s 4 hours too long. The longer he “works” the more Aerica is torn down.

I don't believe this, even for a New York minute. This just more "Dreams From My Father" like lies.

I don't golf, but doesn't a round of golf take about 4 hours?

..and that makes a full day for O'Blame-O.

If only you would have lived in his hometown, instead.

Makes sense. The less work he does, the more he emulates his constituency.

We could do a petition, send it around the country, to have him and almost all of the federal government stop working for, lets say, ever. Then we wouldn’t have to pay attention to watching the weasels, and could focus on our God, families, friends, and careers more.

Well, with all the cigarette breaks, it’s actually a lot less than 4 hours a day.

Hire an Affirmative Action president, and get Affirmative Action results. This is how Obama has gotten through life. It’s alright for a shuck n’ jive rabble-rouser, but not for the leader of the free world.

She just left of the remainder of the sentence: "Then he went back to bed to sleep it off." When did he stop doing drugs, anyway?
