We have awakened a sleeping giant and have instilled in him a terrible resolve." Emperor Hirohito
The sleeping Giant, off the coast of Irelands Dingle peninsula
Could it be? Could the pendulum after tracing one of the longest arcs ever recorded in the history of America - possibly be swinging back? Finally?
There certainly were indications of that possibility last night from both fly-over and - of all places - California!?! Whats up with that the Tea Party isnt even legal in California!
So here are the gory results from Wisconsin: despite voter turnout of 119% in Madison yesterday, Governor Walker still won the day handily (although I understand Ed Schultz is still counting the absentee ballots):
Walker 53 %
Barrett 47 %
Walker took 61% of the white working class workers (the group that, as I first reported last year, Big Guys big brains wrote off). Im assuming Barrett took the union vote, including the ones from Illinois and Michigan. In the final analysis this turned out to be contest between the haves (public unions, whose pensions are 4.5 times larger than the private sector) and the have-nots (you, the taxpayer). Stunningly, the have-nots won this time.

FIRE UP PEOPLE!!!
NOVEMBER 6th IS UPON US!!!!
This famous quote was never atributed to Emperor Hirohito.
It was however, MISTAKENLY attributed to Imperial Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, base on the movies "Pearl Harbor" and "Tora! Tora! Tora!". However, there is no historic information or records that show the Admiral had ever said anything like this at the outset of World War II...though he may have well personally thought of it.
And as everyone knows, there is a world of difference between the Emperor, Hirohito, and the Supreme Admiral of the Japanese Imperial Navy, Admiral Yamamoto. It would be akin to confusing President Truman with Douglas MacArthur over a quote.
The 2010 midterms and Wisconsin have knocked democrats to the floor where they belong. Keep your foot on their neck people and don’t ever let them up again. TEA!
The rules.

Oh yeah...President Romney....quite the conselation prize....Why is the GOPe so stupid. I am still pissed off royaly that we missed a significant opportunity to have a real conservative this round instead of a liberal Republican in Name Only....What a crying shame. I am so disgusted with the whole thing.....2016 can’t come fast enough.....Get rid of Romney then and put in someone conservative....

"Divine Wind"
Amen.
ROFLMAO! Nicely done! (still laughing...)
ROFLMAO! I hadn’t even scrolled down yet, Laz! FReeper HUMOR BUMP!
Is that an off-the-cuff joke, or was that seriously reported somewhere?
I also heard that there was a lot of fraudulent voting in WI. From what I hear they are not going to investigate any of them. FL could be another state where the fraudulent voting will be bad.
Another quote attributed to Hirohito is something to do with “a gun behind every blade of grass”...who actually said that?
That was never attributed to the Emperor, and was falsely attributed to Admiral Yamamoto. (He did not say that as well, just as the “sleeping giant” quote is essentially without evidence).
When it comes to that foreign war, this individual, whomever he truly is or from wherever he truly came, indeed is just the type of tyrant to think he can fool the gullible People and get them to jingoistically wrap themselves in the very flag he is disgusted of, by Wagging The Dog, and in an incredible fashion. I for one hope the Joint Chiefs overrule him, if it is unconstitutional and without the consent of the Congress
