Secretary of State Ken Bennett said Tuesday evening that he has received an e-mail from officials in Hawaii, which he believes contains the information he sought to verify President Barack Obama's birth certificate.
"By requesting the verification I can now report to thousands of constituents that we did what can be done and he is qualified to be on the ballot," Bennett said.
Bennett said he had not actually opened the email as of 7 p.m. Tuesday, but was confident it contained the information he asked for.

( I would ask Hawaii officials this question if I were Bennett: Hawaii, Can you verify that President Obama was born at Kapiolani Hospital on Aug. 4, 1961 as stated on his long form birth certificate?)
Exactly... so I suppose the next step is for Arizona citizens to point out to their SofS that BHO2 has been definitively proven by a state official of Hawaii to be ineligible to run for the office of POTUS.

My guess is he got a call from a Repubican telling him to back off, that it was losing strategy and wouldn't play well in the campaign. And if he didn't back, forget any Repubican support in the future. Am I way off or does anyone smell a Karl Rove-like aroma surrounding this?

I do find it interesting that from a legal point of view, Barry has thus far managed, not only to avoid releasing a valid birth certificate, but also to avoid any legal determination of who his father was, despite his own statements and the statements in his book. I’m shocked that Hawaii went out on this limb. I’m shocked that Obama let them. They must have viewed this as the lesser of two evils. Having Obama’s name left off the ballot in Arizona had huge potential to spread. They are just arrogant enough to believe they have bamboozled every well enough that the NBC issue won’t rear it’s head. Unfortunately, they may be right.
That thought had occurred to me as well. I hope you are right. It's a little discouraging that Bennett doesn't seem to care about that though. Also, a lot of the public doesn't understand the NBC issue. We even have FReepers who claim that any citizen born in this country is automatically a natural born citizen, regardless of parentage. I just doubt it will go anywhere.
Has anybody clued Ken in on the fact that Barry’s Dad was from Kenya and his mom was too young to confer citizenship on him at the time of his birth? Just askin.

And the RiNO's have been in a holding pattern for Mittens ever since Bush 41 gave Mitt the official dedazo ("pointing finger" -- Mexican politispeak for the way the PRI used to pick its presidentiables) at a 2007 candidate clambake in Houston. Bush Sr. greeted all the candidates ..... just one of them, a lot more warmly and personably. It was clear as glass, even then, that Mitt was his boy. His, and the RiNOate's, and the CFR's, and the Trilateral Commission's, and the Business Roundtable's, and the Bohemian Club's, and the New World Order's.

No matter who his parents were Obama, in two autobiographies, told us he was born a naturalized citizen of the US, and a subject, probably natural born, of the British Commonwealth. Not only has Barack never claimed to be a natural born citizen, never forget that every US Senator signed their agreement to Senate Resolution on 30 April 2008 in which Senator Leahy, agreed, along with every other Senator, with Judge Michael Chertoff:
“My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen,” Chertoff replied. “That is mine, too,” said Leahy.”
This is a stupendous confidence job in which both parties are complicit. They feel they have no alternative but to tell anyone who questions eligibility that they are “birthers”, using Alinsky’s 5th rule applying the power of ridicule. No judge, no legislator, no media pundit will speak the words of Chief Justice John Marshall, Chief Justice John Jay, Chief Justice Morrison Waite, Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes, Congressional Historian Dr. David Ramsay (1789), author and originator of the 14th Amendment, John Bingham, who twice explained the meaning of natural born citizens. Remember, no terms are defined in the Constitution. Definitions come from the common-law and common language familiar to its framers. The common-law was needed to decide Minor v. Happersett, and so confirmed as precedent by Chief Justice Morrison Waite who said:
“The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”
Obama operatives along with Republicans, whose candidate McCain was never ruled eligible, want you wrapped in the soap opera mystery of Obama’s origins because the facts are there for anyone to read - but only for those who trust their abilities to reason, and who are willing to read a bit. They are counting on the public remaining sheep. More and more are finding the time to learn the truth, and the quotations above are the tip of the iceberg. There is an enormous historical record confirming what the Senate agreed with in 2008, but has now conveniently forgotten.
Whatever’s going on, it doesn’t pass the sniff test.

Yes, specific words have specific meaning.
Line 1 in the Verification of Birth letter from Hawaii to SoS Bennett:
A birth certificate is on file with the Dept. of Health indicating that Barack Hussein obama, ll was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.”
Get that? INDICATING, as in implying. “Verifying” would have been the correct word there. “Verifying” leaves NO wiggle room.
