Jackie Onassis believed that Lyndon B Johnson and a cabal of Texas tycoons were involved in the assassination of her husband John F Kennedy, ‘explosive’ recordings are set to reveal. The secret tapes will show that the former first lady felt that her husband’s successor was at the heart of the plot to murder him.
She became convinced that the then vice president, along with businessmen in the South, had orchestrated the Dallas shooting, with gunman Lee Harvey Oswald – long claimed to have been a lone assassin – merely part of a much larger conspiracy.
Texas-born Mr Johnson, who served as the state’s governor and senator, completed Mr Kennedy’s term and went on to be elected president in his own right. The tapes were recorded with leading historian Arthur Schlesinger Jnr within months of the assassination on November 22, 1963, and had been sealed in a vault at the Kennedy Library in Boston.
The then Mrs Kennedy, who went on to marry Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, had ordered that they should not be released until 50 years after her death, with some reports suggesting she feared that her revelations might make her family targets for revenge...

I was just going through that wiki entry. Just the fact of the Rudy killing does complicate the story and makes it difficult to believe that both Oswald and Rudy acted alone.

I agree. I also suspect LBJ was behind the MLK assassination. Remember, by the time he was assassinated MLKK had become a giant embarrassment and pain in the behind for LBJ. Bumping him off would get him out o the way before news of bias “vigorous sex life” got out to damage LBJ, the civil rights movement, and the DemonRat party. Also the martyrdom could be used to pass the Great Society. IOW he was a far better dead martyr than live cvil rights leader. Then look at James Earl Ray, a petty criminal with no real reason to want to be the subject of a massive man hunt who did an international flight that could only have been set up by somebody else.
Rich Democrat politicians have no morals. Zero. Not a new story by any means.
Richard Nixon was an Eagle Scout compared to his two predecessors, brought down only by the FACT that he was a successful Commie hunter during his HUAC days.
LBJ was lower than pond scum white trash and may well have had a part in the assassination.

My entire point is that Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK. He was a Communist who idolized, first, Stalinist Russia, next, Fidel Castro.
Whatever else might be involved, if anything, I don’t know.
But I do not appreciate the Eastern news media and the Eastern richie rich Kennedys always blaming it on Texas, on Dallas, because it happened there.
They don’t like us, and the feeling is mutual, after they smeared an entire city and even an entire state.
And if you will please notice, the article says Jackie blamed LBJ and a Cabal of Texas businessmen.
Another person on this thread chimed in that Mrs. Johnson was “awful” and stood to gain as much as her husband from murdering Kennedy.
The same poster said they always believed it was LBJ and the Mrs., and said the best evidence for that was that “it happened in Texas”.
So spare me.
I have it on VHS tape, but our VCR broke a while ago. One day, I will try to get it converted to DVD. I was shocked that the History Channel had the guts to air it at all, which is why I originally taped it.
That would be Jack Ruby, not “Rudy”.
That's what I always thought. A lot of people assume that Ray was arrested immediately after the assassination. That was not the case. Despite the fact that every law enforcement agency in the world was looking for him, he evaded capture for more than two months before he was arrested at the airport in London. That tells me that he had people helping him hide out, and providing him with money and transportation so that he could move around the country, and eventually fly to London. James Earl Ray did not have the resources to do this on his own, and he was not a criminal mastermind by any stretch of the imagination.
Not to say LBJ couldn’t have done it, but what in the world was JFK thinking when he chose LBJ as his VP? Obama was smart enough not to choose Hillary for obvious reasons. We’re talking Democrats and their lust for power, after all.
Along with his Cabal of Texas Tycoons.

Anyway, this goes to show that the so-chic and much-adulated Jackie was as stupid as the other cows that the Kennedys married.

That I can believe. I do not believe he had Kennedy killed. Connally was a close friend and was almost killed himself. Connally stated he did not believe the LBJ conspiricy BS.
Oswald did not “move his family to Russia” but defected to the Soviet Union alone, later marrying a co-worker at the factory he was assigned to work in. She was almost certainly his KGB “minder” or else they would never have been allowed to repatriate to the United States together.
No one is blaming Texas but the truth is that LBJ was trash.
