Top Reasons the Romney Win in Florida Is NOT what the Romney supporters in the LSM are suggesting. It is not the end of the road and the coronation of Mitt Romney.
1. Only about a hundred out of roughly 2300 delgates have been chosen.
2. Romney can't win over the conservative base.
3. 46 States remain on the schedule.
4. Romney has seriously elevated his negatives. Many now despise the guy.
5. Romney is being protected by the media from his weaknesses. Time and repetition will get the truth out.
6. Romney can't continue spending at that level and enter the general is good shape.
7. At the end of the day, Romney is still a flip-flop liberal.
8. Liberal Media is Starting to Train Guns on Romney
One of the things I see here that is funny is that Romney bought the Florida vote by spending tons of money. Money that Newt did not have to spend.
Now we know that Romney has money, but when and if he comes out against Obama he is looking at a clown who has a billion dollar campaign fund. What will happen to Romney when he comes face to face with a guy who can outspend him, has the media behind him, and has free unlimited travel in Air Force One and can take as many reporters with him as he likes.
Romney is about to find out that without the support of the whole party his money cannot buy him the Presidency, and he cannot win the support of the whole party by a scorched earth policy against another Republican.
Obama and his money will eat Romney and his money alive.

Romney will be worse than Obama because Romney, on the strength of Rino friends in Congress, WILL betray us to liberal legislation, whereas Obama would be held up by a politically deadlocked Congress.
Ergo, Romney is WORSE than Obama.

I listened to Hannity on both his radio show and on TV interview Gingrich.
He was clearly in CYA mode. He even begged listeners at one point to (paraphrase) ~please understand I get callers on both sides...~

Goldman Sachs money is not Romney money, and Goldman was a big Obama supporter. They’ll decide to dump Romney because they won’t have to spend as much to have Obama again.

It's pretty straight forward based on the cumulative totals thus far.
Rick needs to bow out and throw in behind Newt. If he does, the conservative base will win. If he does not he will continue to split the vote and hand it to Romney.
I believe Santorum is actually the more conservative of the two...but he is not garnering support and does not have that spark that inspires people to get onboard and fight with all they have. Newt does. Newt simply needs to control his emotions and stay on topic and target.
If he does...and if Rick does this, Newt wins.
BTW, Newt won SC by 12.59% on a total vote of around 600,000. Mitt beat newt by 14.43% on a total vote of 1.66 million. We cannot underestimate Mitt and think he cannot get a large percentage of the vote in large states. He proved yesterday that he can so this ceiling we had hoped he was not going to crack is now a myth and we need to get Newt and Rick together so they can beat those numbers.
Romney's advantage is his funding power, second only to Obama. Gingrich is weak financially, but Santorum is even weaker. Paul manages money well and can last very long given his strategy to work on caucus states and states with libertarian leanings, like New Hampshire or Nevada. Santorum and, surprisingly, Paul did better in the Southern-oriented, evangelical counties of northern Florida. But Santorum was a weak third and is competing for the same pool of voters as is Gingrich. Without another Iowa-type victory, Santorum will have to shut down for lack of funding.
For Gingrich to remain competitive, he will need a strong financial boost from Sheldon Adelson or another financial angel.
I don’t give a rip who he names as his VP.
That ticket won’t get my vote or the votes of any of my family members.

There is something to be gained in dissecting numbers. 53% did not want Romney who needs all of them.
Bush 2000 says Romney cannot afford to lose anyone in his supposed fight to defeat Obama.
I for one will work against him even if he wins the nomination.
My objective if Romney is the nominee is to win my precinct for a 3rd choice here in swing state Ohio.
I’ll never vote for Obama, and for exactly the same reasons, I’ll never vote for Romney.

Until Rick gets behind Newt...or vice versa, Romeny’s people will make an even more compelling statistical arguement against either one of them individually. It is when their vote (Newts and Ricks) comes together that the truth will win out...and it needs to happen sooner rather than later.
This election is a very fluid situation and unpredictable, beacuase whatever happens is dependent upon some other unknown happeneing or not happening.
For example:
“Santorum will have to shut down for lack of funding.”
What if there is already a back room deal? Romney and his backers which include Koch, could inject enough to keep Santorum going.
“For Gingrich to remain competitive, he will need a strong financial boost from Sheldon Adelson or another financial angel.”
Or perhaps true grassroots support in those other Southern states with active campaigning from Cain, Perry, Thompson, Bachmann (unless she truly is a Romney mole as I’m beginning to suspect). The next states are extremely different from Florida.
My only point is that I think this way this plays out is completely unpredictable, given that the anti-establishment movement position is hardened.

I agree that a combined conservative vote would be best.
At this point, though, Rick’s argument is less compelling given his declining numbers. He’s going to try a revival in some smaller states and see if he can displace Newt.
I don’t think it will work, but I think he’s full speed ahead on the plan. That means his exit won’t take place for nearly a month.
This needs to be put to Rick in VERY clear terms.
He is not going to get the nomination.

In many areas that might be true.
However, there exists in dee-cee a gigantic rat nest of socialists, marxists, fascists, and outright communists, woven together with all the cash their grubby hands can loot from the American people plus warehouse loads from "other" (illegal) sources.
Rick does not posses the depth of experience it will require to design the process that will deconstruct that rat's nest. Undoubtedly he is a great guy and good at what he has done in the past but the task ahead is far beyond his skill set.
Newt is far from perfect HOWEVER he is capable of constructing the machine that can effectively unravel the communist cluster f*** of the donks.
Rick should be smart enough to know that there IS a place for him just as there will be for ALL of the solid conservatives if the election goes our way. If it does not? There will not be anyplace for him or anyone else that is not kissing the communist ring.
Again, the question is...
Does Rick Santorum want to become the guy that subjected the united States to little bammy's "Endgame For America?"
BTW, the same is true for Ron Paul but he is just beyond reasoning with.
