yeah well the liberal MSM had no problems when their darling ALI was praising Allah etc in his interviews after wins
Or when he made a big deal about converting and changing his name
I saw Troy and one other player, forehead, chest, shoulder, shoulder during the game.
Sign of the Cross.
I would write more, but I’m on my way out to burn mosques and bash gays.
Is it true that he threw for 316 yards?
Bill Maher, Keith Olbermann, Andrew Sullivan, et al. are not acquainted with anything resembling a decent thought or intention.
If Mrs. Sullivan’s little Andrew can run around being “gay” in public, I don’t see anything hypocritical about Tebow praying in public. Little Andrew’s Muzzie pals do it all of the time. Little Andy doesn’t seem very concerned about that.
Good post with the critic’s quotes, joeclarke. Thanks.
(I haven’t followed the participants in the bashing and do not pay attention to the NFL in general, but...on many levels...there appears to be a greater story here.)
Just what exactly is it that Mr. Tebow is doing that burns their sorry @sses so badly? Could be any worse than what they do on any given Saturday night.
The way in which this game ended reminded me of two previous games which began in much the same way.
The first, Superbowl XXII, began with John Elway throwing a TD bomb on the first play. That was pretty much it for the Broncos, as Doug Williams and the Redskins went on to set a bunch of records in annihilating Denver.
The second, Superbowl LVI, began with Chicago Bears superstar Devin Hester returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. They lost to the Colts 29-17.
Congratulations to the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow. Better to end the game with the Big Play!
The Bible DOES say to pray in private, but it says to make a joyful noise before the Lord, too. I believe Tebow's actions embrace the latter.
Please let all Christians pray for Tebow, as he is ONE professional jock who is a true role model for youth--to say nothing of the rest of the country.
vaudine
One must bear in mind, when bringing Christianity to bear in public life, that most often losers are winners, and winners are losers. Somewhere in the world today was a woman changing her baby’s diaper, totally unaware of the Pittsburg-Denver game. To the extent she knows Jesus as her Savior, she is every bit as important as Tim Tebow, if not moreso. The good thing is . . . Tebow knows this.
Tim will be burned at the stake for practicing witchcraft by mid-season, next year.
Hate the Bronco, like Tebow, love the Pats. See younext season Timmy....
He looked pretty good throwing the ball today, except for a few plays. I’ve been saying he should improve steadily. You’d think professional coaches could get a kid with all the tools passing pretty well before long.
Absolutely dirty hit by James I don’t care if I hurt anyone Harrison, destroying the knee of Broncos top receiver. James Harrison should be removed from the league. Even high school players know how to tackle/wrap up correctly.
Clearly backward pass, refs missed an obvious fumble...given field position likely a 7 point swing.
Multiple face masks on Tim Tebow never called. Broncos would have a really good chance to win in regulation if called.
I have to admit, this couldn’t have been more perfect, an early commanding lead, followed by a comeback from the Steelers. Tiebow haters were probably talking considerable smack. Then Pow touchdown. I bet Maher sucked his coke spoon up his nose so hard it shot out his butt.
The whining pundit class feels more comfortable seeing chest-pounding “LOOK AT ME” antics rather than Tebow’s humble prayer moment.
What Tebow does to these people is force them to think about their own approach to life... it’s making them squirm.
