Those who have implied that the President’s health care law will establish “death panels,” have encountered excessive criticism. Yet, more and more information is being released identifying that rationing of care will in fact occur, and that it will be done by government bureaucracies.
For example, a phone call into The Mark Levin Show on WLS 890 from a Chicago neurosurgeon last month revealed that a Health and Human Services (HHS) document, associated with the Obama Administration’s federal health law, will inhibit patients over the age of 70 from receiving neurological care. Instead of receiving “advanced neurosurgical care,” “units,” (meaning patients), over 70 will receive care to make them “comfortable.” In order to provide the neurosurgical care, a physician would have to appeal to a “ethics committee” made up of administrators, not physicians, to determine if the services can be administered.
This document, not surprisingly, has not been presented to the public.

I guess this leaves Obaama, Cass Sunstein, and Dawkins (now that Hitchens has bit the big one) as "acceptable sapient units".

A direct blood relative of a politician is one such class. After the medical system needs access to our taxes don't they?
A direct blood relative of a media figure is another such class. After all the medical system needs a positive image doesn't it?
A direct blood relative of one of the “1%” is another such class. After all the medical system needs extra money to lobby Congress doesn't it?
Will some reader, lurker, poster please tell me what the differences between our future medical world and feudalism as practiced in Europa circa 1200 AD?
The folks at DHS are busting their asses 24/7 to get all this implemented. I suspect there will be many surprises (like the document mentioned in this article) when the magic unveiling day comes. Get ready. Bend over!
Let us hope the SCOTUS acts like adults come Spring.

I thought people became “units” at age 65 when this first came out. I just want to find out how many years I have left before unit-hood.
So which is it? Was the doc legit or not? And there was a nurse right after the doc basically confirming what he said. Was she legit or not as well? (I can’t do pdf right now.)

You make up your own mind, but mine is made up. It is legit, if it were not, by now there would be huge retractions on the subject. There have been none.

Unfortunately, the answer seems to be “yes.” And it’s nearly more tragic, aside from the coming loss of life and liberty, that it will committed by the chicken-hearted. They’re seemingly collectively (appropriate word, no?) afraid of admitting their evil, other than in the dark of the night they strive to create for us all. Not just evil, but lily-livered evil. Weasels.
