Only Ron Paul’s foreign policy is worse than Obama’s.
You're so right. Some Truthers think we attacked Iraq before 9/11 and this brought on the attack. I had an argument with an American Muslim on that. Had to drop it because he got so heated.
If the RATS were smart enough, I’d give them credit for pulling off the mother of all Operation Chaos stunts with Paul, but they aren’t that smart.
There’s no way Ron Paul ever wins the nomination.
People may be divided on the candidates, but NO ONE has Paul as their second choice. It’s either Paul #1 (amongst the Paulistinians) or dead last.
Preach it, Brother.
You guys are too funny, you’re frothing at the mouth over Ron Paul and how he’s going to destroy this country and that he’s a crazy racist and oh throw in that he’s a 9/11 truther. Must be the devil himself running for president!
But who are you supporting? A bunch of RINOs that once in office won’t do squat to bring down the size of government or do anything about the loss of freedoms we have suffered in the past few decades. Don’t know what you guys are smoking but it must be pretty good stuff to keep you from seeing that the establishment RINOs are no better than the current RATS in charge right now. And in case you haven’t noticed the US has already been pretty much destroyed both socially and economically thanks to government regulations, over-spending, incentivizing the off-shoring of manufacturing, promising more ($33 Trillion more for entitlements than we have according to the latest GAO report), etc. Stick a fork in us because we are most certainly done. And yet you guys froth at the mouth and spray spittle all over the place over Ron Paul. You should wake up, why do you think the MSM, the RATS and the RINOs are so terrified of him actually getting into power? Maybe because they know he’s crazy enough to actually try applying the breaks before we hit the wall at 100 mph and maybe cut off the gravy to these pigs in Wall Street.
I don’t think that Ron Paul has a chance in hell of getting elected given the political climate that we’re in. But it is entertaining to see a supposedly “conservative” web-site betray every conservative ideal that they have just to keep the most “conservative” candidate from office. I’ll laugh like hell when I read in 2013 you guy crying about all the rotten stuff that the RINO you elected is doing. You’re delusional if you think any of them will change things.
We need to bear in mind there is a reverse operation chaos going on in Iowa. Democrats will be out in force to vote for Paul and try to saddle us with that turkey.
Whatever you think of Ron Paul, or Romney, or Perry, or Gingrich. or whoever, what do you expect to accomplish by posting something so inflammatory?
Whoever wins the Republican nomination is going to need the support of all Republicans and independents, regardless of which candidate they supported in the primaries. Why do you think it is appropriate to insult anyone that you will eventually need to vote against Obama?
Personal attacks are prohibited on FR. Seriously, you should be ashamed of youself.
Barack Obama for president! Are you freaking kidding me? But there he is, so as kooky as Ron Paul is, his presidency could be another self-inflicted joke on Americans. Before that happens, we will get another four years of the Obamarama, and the death of this grand experiment.
To simply name call or to assume that all his supporters are just anti-american pot heads is foolish. Paul is the only candidate running that convinces people he hates the government as much as they do. If ANY of the other candidates would adopt his stance on the FED or the constitutionality of federal agencies, or any number of his other domestic agendas Paul’s support would crater.
As it is people are left with the unfortunate choice between big government hackery from the Newt McRomney crowd or dangerous foreign policy by Paul. Rather than simply write off Paul supporters as defective, other candidates would do well to examine what makes otherwise conservative people support this man.
As I say, Ron Paul is the nut can that is best kept closed.
I’m still convinced Ron Paul would be a better choice over Mitt Romney if it came down to a choice between the two.
I’m not gung-ho about Paul’s foreign policy, but as far I’m concerned, the Federal Government by far the most eminent threat to the safety and security of this country than any foreign power is.
Romney isn’t serious about reining in Fedzilla, so he’s a non-starter for me (aside from the fact that he’s a sham of a man with no real convictions).
Hey! I want my legalized crack and heroin!!
Agree, he cannot become our President.
Funny, that’s what I said about “President Obama.”
As Romney said: Hell yes, I’ll vote for Paul over Obama.
Not that I can’t think of a bunch of people I’d vote for before Paul.
And who cares about Paul’s “racist newspapers” when Obama was sitting in “Reverend” Wright’s den of hate for years?
Now that's the way to win friends and influence people...
I’m not a RoPaul supporter.
Those who are, tend to swing strongly to the Libertarian side.
The success of RoPaul can be laid at the failure of other R candidates
to address some of the deep-seated issues that are undermining our
country...
Loss of Privacy
Rise of the police state
Devaluation of our dollar and monetary system
Overwhelming debt
Military bases in more than 100 countries
etc.
If someone on our side doesn’t care about these things and
carry the flag for them, there will be a third party run
that undermines the R candidate in the general election.
RoPaul supporters are essentially the libertarian version
of the tea party. They will either be satisfied enough that
their issues are paid attention to and vote R or they will
be disillusioned and go elsewhere.
“Ron Paul for President, Are You Freaking kidding Me”
I would include Romney and yes Newt, in that statement!
I kind of wish he was on the other side. He is so off the wall, it would be fun to watch. Except that he is “one of us.”.
Ah yes, racist newspapers: it is “racist” to acknowledge that black people commit most of the crime in our major cities.
// rolls eyes.
