All you Ron Paul supporters, you are obviously one digit short of a normal IQ or have a single digit IQ. No conservative believes we had anything to do with 911 or believes we brought it on ourselves. Once you step into the realm of 911 being America's fault, you're in the realm of kook ville anti-America rhetoric. I don't want a President that's going to sympathize with our enemies and rationalize it as it must be our fault. We have that already with Obamalama. If you like that, vote for Hussein. Also, being a military veteran, I'm sure as hell not voting for some clueless idiot that denies there's still a threat out there against America and wants to deal with it by dismantling our military. Mr. Paul demonstrates that he has a dangerous and fundamental misunderstanding of the threat posed to every American citizen by radical Islam and the little Hitler running Iran.
Let's also not forget the racist newspaper. Don't even go there with the excuse he had no idea what was being printed. You have to be walking Mr. Magoo not knowing your name is attached to such racist filth. Bottom line, Mr. Paul is many things, but conservative is not one of them and he isn't the answer America is looking for to return to that shinning light on the hill of greatness. Greatness doesn't come from being a pacifist or supporter of leftist social policies.
Ron Paul is that crazy old uncle we all have that lives in the attic and shows up at family reunions and once every 5 years says something sane..and all the little kids are afraid of him...
True that he is screwing our side and giving ammo to the Lying Leftist Media to paint us with a broad brush as crazy over-the-top nut jobs.
LOL - good description!
I suppose it is the way one looks at things. As for me he makes a lot of sense but America is so tied up it cannot change its foreign policy now.
Ah yes, racist newspapers: it is “racist” to acknowledge that black people commit most of the crime in our major cities.
// rolls eyes.
(1) Young people are not really enthusiastic about fighting and paying for foreign wars.
(2) Young people think the military should be used to defend America, not as a tool for constantly meddling in the affairs of foreign countries.
(3) Young people believe that constant military and diplomatic interventions in the Middle East have sowed animosity toward the United States.
(4) Young people believe that Israel is more than capable of defending itself.
The American electorate is changing. Every two years there are more Millennial voters and fewer elderly voters. Young people don’t like American foreign policy. It will inevitably be changed through sheer demographics.
It is the over 45 crowd exclusively that believes Ron Paul is crazy. If you are under 45, you are more likely to believe that Newt Gingrich is crazy.
Unlike Gingrich, Paul doesn’t support a path to citizenship. He is also a fierce and reliable opponent of the welfare state.
Gutting the welfare state would do more to kill illegal immigration than almost anything because it would shut down the remittances system.
Really? Which young people? And who elected you their mouthpiece?
Ron Paul has an enormous following among young people. Anyone who has been to CPAC can tell you that. Millennials and Gen X’ers dislike the foreign wars and especially resent being forced to pay for them.
Those of us who are under 45 and who regularly use Facebook and Twitter can attest to the relative size of Ron Paul’s following compared to other candidates.
Newt Gingrich’s followers are almost exclusively over the age of 45. Ron Paul’s fan club is heavily under the age of 45.
Banning people doesn’t change the fact that the Boomers are getting older and comprise an ever shrinking percentage of the electorate whereas every four years there are more Gen X’er and Millennial voters.
Fighting that trend is like Caligula’s declaration of war on Poseidon. The globalist foreign policy of the post-WW2/post-Cold War era is doomed.
If it doesn’t die in this election cycle, it will die in 2016 or 2020. Paul’s surge since 2008 reflects that consensus among younger voters.
Would those be the same enlightened, infallible young voters who voted for 0bama in droves?
You are my type of gal. I just finished one too.
Scotch sounds good!
Why is Iowa going for RP? He’s a complete nut case.
From the Des Moines Register posted about 6 hours ago:
“Paul responded by saying he supported the move to pursue the Sept. 11 terrorists.
He also clarified his stance on 9/11, saying the U.S. policies not its people were to blame for the attacks.
They didnt come here because youre free and prosperous they dont go to Sweden and Switzerland, Paul said. The 9/11 Commission said that the motivation was the fact that we were over there and we had been over there for a long time.”
He is not blaming America for the 9/11 attacks, he is rightly pointing out that because we choose to be involved in the ME and base our military over there we became a target for terrorism. It’s not a hard concept to understand, stick your nose in a hornets nest and you’ll get stung sooner or later. He has also said that he supported going after the terror groups that did this, just not the “nation building” that has caused us to be in Afghanistan for the past 10 years now.
I’m thinking that “irrevelant” might be coming to be your middle name, eh?

“ok, I dont keep up enough, who is cut and run?
You’re trying to be too cute by half; NOT a good sign...

“Have you ever seen a bully pick on someone bigger and stronger than him?”
Yep, once on YouTube a coupla months ago, until the kid got fed up, picked up the little punk and body-slammed him on the pavement! HAW Your point is well said though.

This is about the fourth time you’ve popped up claiming to be ignorant of common knowledge here, then begging for forgiveness of your trespasses. That dog won’t hunt dude!
