Thankfully that will not happen. However, I am more worried about Romney getting the nod. That is more likely. I know I am working hard to ensure that is not going to happen.

Ah — a honeypot to pull in (out?) the Ru Paul nuts.

I’ll watch this one with great glee...

Dittos. Ron Paul is a dangerous nut. Since there is no way in hell he will be the GOP nominee, he will probably run as a 3rd party candidate, guaranteeing Obama’s re-election. The sooner Conservatives and Republicans disavow this racist loon, the better.

So many Paul seminar callers on talk radio this week.

They start out saying they are long term military, and that they from a long line of military family, and then they say they are Paul fans. Then they say Paul must be best because he has gotten the highest contributuion from the military.

I have heard this call maybe 4 or 5 times this week on different shows.

Let Paul have the anti-American, pro-pot vote. This will drain off 30% of Obama’s voters and assure a conservative victory.

In another time and place, Dr. Paul would have been Dr. Mengele. IMHO

Yes, Ron Paul is a whackjob nutcase Alex Jones truther. All 911 truthers can go straight to hell as far as I’m concerned. You too if you push that crap.

Post that nutjob crap here on FR at your own peril. I’m hereby giving the mods the greenlight to whack your account if and when you go over the line posting Ron Paul/whackjob truther nuttery.

I personally think Gingrich is the only one that can possibly get us headed out of this mess but I tell you Ron Paul is not as off base as you folks want to make him out. If you do a little research into what he has said you will find a great deal of sound reasoning behind it. I do not wish to argue but I certainly question your integrity when making such a statement against him.He is probably the most honest person running!

You know, I could envision an almost biblical course of events with a Ron Paul presidency. America sits profoundly in the isolationist corner while Iran commences WWIII (or IV) by nuking Israel and parts of Europe and Russia. The entire eastern hemisphere boils over while a siting President proclaims it’s not our concern.

The book of Revelations pretty much refers to this sort of scenario. This is really simplified, but the fact is, the last book of the Bible does not include America in its storyline.

Never even gave him a second thought until the McCain defense bill easily passed with language pulled that would have protected US citizens rights, add to this secretive FED loans to foreign banks, TSA policies.

Have not heard any other candidate speak out against the defense bill.

I think most of the Paul supporters who use to post here have gotten the message and left or at least went into hiding. There use to be a sizable Paulbot presence, now there is barely a handful.

Your laundry list of anti-Paul charges, each taken out of context, does not hurt Dr. Paul, whose traditional American views are well known to a great many people. What you do, do, is to alienate those of us who respect Dr. Paul, and discourage us from working for the candidate, who eventually gets the nomination.

Why is that? Because your approach suggests that the other candidates are not even aware of very legitimate questions that Dr. Paul has raised about our handling of our foreign policy, in the last twenty years. (I disagree with him, myself, as to Gulf War I, but that is not a current issue.)

I would urge everyone to re-read what George Washington had to say on dealing with the World in his Farewell Address, particularly his analysis of human psychology and the effect of some of the rhetoric that Newt Gingrich & Santorum have been employing. Washington explains the points better than Dr. Paul, but the points are valid.

Incidentally, I have not endorsed Dr. Paul this time around. I have not endorsed anyone, but am hoping for a younger candidate, because the next few years will be extremely trying.

We’re all short a few IQ points for allowing the GOP to give us such a pitiful slat of candidates. We just thought 2008 was bad. 2012 is MUCH worse. Anyone but Hussein and Mittens.

I’d like to see Paul over at Treasury.

And I’d like to see Rand in the White House down the road a couple of years.

Nothing is beyond the imagination of the American voter.

If they are willing to put a stranger in the WH, it is not beyond reason that they can vote for Wrong Paul to replace him.

I think we did have something to do with 9/11.

We were the object and the target.

The subject was the Arab/Muslim people who had rejected Al Queda, and their methods. It was a temper tantrum writ large, with the potential intent to cause the US and Islam to go to war.

Our oldest ally is, I think, Morocco. And that frosted Bin Ladin’s shorts.
