I don’t see it’s a big deal. First we complain that Muslims won’t assimilate then when they do we complain they’re eating Halal food by American food companies. I eat Kosher (to a point), so why not Muslims having Halal food??
Just rub your turkey in bacon grease before roasting.
All hint of halal will be removed.

What the story fails to mention is that the poor turkeys are not slaughtered due to the demands of Halal, but rather, they are slaughtered in a way that is approved by the muslim community.......and every other community for that matter!
The same thing could be said about all the perch harvested, filleted and sold on the open market.............
