Also-if you ever go into the military, God help you if you have a bizarre name...
Brings to mind a story about a Navy Chief who noticed a new seaman and barked at him “What’s your name sailor?” The seaman responded “John”. Chief scowled and said he doesn’t call anyone by their first name because it leads to a breakdown in authority and sailors are referred to by their last names only. So he barked again, “What’s your last name?” The seaman responded, “Darling. My name is John Darling, Chief”. “Okay, John, here’s what I want you to do...”

I remember a sergeant in the Air Force many years ago whose last name was King. His first name was Nosmo Went to school at The Citadel with a guy by the name of Major Sergeant. In military fashion, class attendance roll call was called out as Sergeant, Major.
His Dad was a three up and three down known as Sergeant Major Sergeant.
Always wondered if he ever made it to Major Major Sergeant.

Your middle name by chance? That would be Daniel.
He'll be arriving noonish tomorrow, the younger.

Seriously.....(yeah, I know, it’s laz), since I’ve lived through many name cycles I have discovered that there is no originality in picking names. When I named my daughter, I thought I was picking an old romantic name that would be nice but different. Turns out that in that generation there were gazillions of girls named Teresa or Kelly. Then came Ashley and Brianna, etc. My son and his wife worked very hard to find a name that would be different for their first child. She is now 7 and every other girl born at the same time is named Emma. The newest baby is Avery. Anybody know how many Averys there are now (boys and girls)? I say there is universal mind and thoughts are rarely original.

The thought of a Universal Mind is not an original thought. ;)
Seriously, I feel that there is a Universal Mind. We might even call it God.

Living in Minnesota we nearly named our firstborn son Erlend Olaf but wiser counsels soon prevailed.
Cheers!

Of course. But I was thinking of how our individual minds are connected. Maybe our minds are connected in God. Deep stuff. Every time I get a great idea and I don’t act on it ASAP, then somebody else that I don’t even know will use that idea and profit from it. So, the early bird gets the worm. But we both picked the idea out of the universe of ideas at the same time. Yeah, I get the bazaar ideas about Cosmic workings from time to time. Are you sure we’re not related?
