Michelle Obama, the most glamorous of all U.S. First Ladies, dazzled the crowd at a DNC fundraiser Tuesday night wearing over $42,000 worth of diamond bracelets ($42,150 to be precise). Designed by Katie Decker, a 23-year-old Texas-based jeweller, the First Lady dropped a few dimes on some serious bling:
(Daily Mail) - The First Lady, 47, chose to wear Miss Decker's Lotus cuff, with 2.9 carats of diamonds, costing $15,000, the Gothic cuff with 2.17 carats of diamonds, costing $15,350, and the $11,800 Quatrefoil bracelet with 1.73 carats of diamonds to the Gotham Hall event.
Damn, for that kind of money - and all the publicity Ms. Decker is about to receive - the Obama's better hope they will be getting a little kickback for Barack's 2012 campaign. Just look at that endorsement:
She might as well change her name to Simon Cowell and slightly turn her hand every time she takes a sip of Coca-Cola (Ahem, I mean Pepsi).

To present it as a purchase by the Sasquatch, is to perpetuate a nasty intimation that the taxpayers may have been screwed into buying this crap for her.
I do not, cannot stand the fact that the jug-eared idiot is the POTUS and he has a Sasquatch, the nasty, pushy, overbearing zero that she is, for a FLOTUS, but we should not participate in the subtle crap-slinging that this is.
I ignore very much of what she does and I realize that she has no compunctions about spending the taxpayers money, but in this case, it's off base and uncalled for.
