Ed Rollins, campaign manager for Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann Presidential run announced that he is stepping back into an advisory role, citing health concerns, as word of his deputy manager, David Polyansky, is leaving the campaign as well. Rollins was on Anderson Cooper's AC360 show on CNN and admitted that the entrance of Rick Perry has "slowed our money down" into the Bachmann campaign and took momentum out of her campaign
He also stated that it's legitimately a Romney/Perry race with them being the leaders in the poll and leaders in money and that Michelle Bachmann is the third person in the race and that she should think of it as a marathon and a long time before voters decide who get's the nomination. Rollins also noted that Bachamnn was returning this fall back into Congress

Palin / Rubio I agree! bttt
Even as a non-supporter of Palin, I agree with that statement. Bachmann and Palin would have been two swords in the same .... you know what!
Lets not forget what McCain pulled off
He might be two faced, but you have to admit he pulled off a come from behind like a champ
I am of the opinion that this whole episode today / tonight is Ed falling on the sword for Bachmann’s weakness in fundraising and ultimately folding. He may actually be doing the “old wise man” thing.
BAD Rich!
(Well and truly hoist on thine own petard.)
Cheers!
I see your point.
Heh. I thought the sarcasm was implicit.
Rollins slowed Bachmann’s money down.
I haven’t donated to her once since Rollins attacked Palin and she (bachmann) stood by with a lame answer a few days later.
Cheers!
Everytime Ed Rollins has been hired by a politician to run their campaign, he has ended up stabbing his employer in the back. Everytime.
That’s good.
MB never had any FB page of any consequence.
I didn’t even mention Bachmann, but if she has money troubles this early she is toast.
Pfffffffffffff!!! LOL! Oh yeah?? Words of wisdom: Don't count your all your chickens before they hatch! Some folks are bound to keep on falling for the same old dumb mistakes.
Uh, maybe the day after he resigned.
Bachmann would have paid hell for doing that, except from the gleeful media and GOP-E, like you said. As it were, Rollins did for her and look what it got him and his client? Support for Michele dropped from Palin supporters who previously liked Bachmann a whole lot.
Heck, I was touting Sarah/Michele on my tagline for ages, until I changed it to the Palin ping list message, by popular demand and necessity, but Rollins turned me off and when Michele didn't denounce him for his nasty attacks on Palin, I was both shocked and terribly disappointed.
Palin remains very smart for not getting in yet! LOL. She is smarter than everyone else for not playing the lamestream media game and they (the MSM & GOP-E) all know it.
Maybe she is following the McCain formula; running just to run; not to win.
Rollins made that statement about Palin months ago. Michelle’s campaign didn’t suffer for it. Her numbers even went up afterwards.
Her campaign suffered because of repeated gaffes the last few weeks, reports of diva-ish behavior and specifically Perry’s entry.
I don’t know Perry much, but ROMNEY IS A SOCIALIST!
RomneyCare = 0bamaCare.
