What a shame. Raise that flag in such a condition let alone during bad weather even in the private sector in Maine and you’ll get fired.

This should have been replaced immediately. Was the flag guy on union break?

Bet they would have taken it down if it were a Rainbow Flag.

Are we sure this didn’t happen on January 20, 2009?

I’m pretty sure that “all weather flag” does not include gale force winds.

The American flag flies in tatters above the U.S. Capitol after Hurricane Irene moved through the nation's capital. Nothing resembling a hurricane moved through DC. The highest sustained wind was 40mph, measured at 1am at Reagan National Airport.

I watched TWC last night for 10 minutes and all they did was try to convince me about how really, really bad this storm was, literally “like Katrina and Ike,” and I couldn’t stand it anymore.
This hype was manufactured FOR Hussein, press releases prepared in advance, etc. His Peas of Sh!t handlers were hoping for a worse storm to make him look good. The worse the better. Apparently, fatalities keep coming in, at around 10 per day.

What a powerful pair of images.
Thank you!

TWC is so left. I can’t stand them anymore. That’s the reason I only listen to talk radio. All the other networks are in the back pocket for the left. TV? What’s that. Why bother anymore?
Some entrepreneur should create a conservative channel.
